Alot of the people in the guitar forum that claim to hate BC Richs haven't played them, they just say they look ugly and go by what others say.

Fact is, my BC Rich is awesome whether people want to accept that or not.
Wiesel words again.

MRDuCran 06-26-2006 01:58 PM

Meaning what...

Squirrel 06-26-2006 01:59 PM

You're on the god damn internet - the biggest information resource - look it up you retard.

MRDuCran 06-26-2006 02:16 PM

I did.

Except first I just put "wiesel", then I tried Weasel Words and got something.

Regardless, I'm sticking with what I said.

i suppose that most of you guitar player practise with a metronome... and to see how you progress do you write down how fast you can play something on day xy?

i practise a lot of different licks, scales, riffs etc. and each of them i play in a different speed and i don't know where i should write down how fast i can play lick xy.

would like to know how you handle it...

AA-12 06-26-2006 04:01 PM

I don't play with a metronome very often, but If I do I just remember what I had it set at before and go from there.

MRDuCran 06-26-2006 04:18 PM

You don't know where...?

A piece of paper...

I have a powertab of alternate picking exercises I need to print out and when I do, I'll write the speeds underneath each bar. Even if I scribble something down I'll stick the tempos underneath it in usually a red pen.

AA-12 06-26-2006 04:20 PM

Austrians have not yet discovered paper, Mitch :p

repcak 06-26-2006 04:26 PM

first i used an excel tabell (we have computers in austria, wotan  )
and i thought of writing it under each bar, but then i thought that after a while there would be too much scribble ;)

MRDuCran 06-26-2006 04:41 PM
Austrians have not yet discovered paper, Mitch :p
lol
first i used an excel tabell (we have computers in austria, wotan )

I usually start at 40bpm on every exercise, but I don't write "40" everytime I practise.

I'll always have the highest tempo on there, so if day one I hit 120, and day 2 I hit 110, I won't write anything down on the 2nd day.

repcak 06-26-2006 04:45 PM

i spend far too much time in front of the computer. i have to change it... to print all the exercises would be a good idea. in two weeks i will be at home again and the computer there is soooo slow, so i will use it only as a metronome.

MRDuCran 06-26-2006 05:01 PM

I spend too much time here too. If I'm forced to get a job, I'll have to cut down, and increase the guitar playing.

Forlorn Hope 06-26-2006 05:47 PM

I need to spend more time playing with a metronome. I haven't really improved much in awhile.

repcak 06-26-2006 05:58 PM

i play always in front of the computer, but then i can't concentrate 100% on playing cause i check MX every few minutes .... its horrible.

Forlorn Hope 06-26-2006 06:06 PM

I do the same thing when I'm at my mom's. When I'm here at my dad's I just sit in my room and play random things trying to write new riffs and songs.

NP: Random Kalmah that I just downloaded :D

MRDuCran 06-26-2006 06:07 PM

lol I know what you mean, I'm always popping down here to check this, and downloads, etc.

Shadows 06-26-2006 07:07 PM

I've just received the Young Guitar book and DVD and they are faboo!

MRDuCran 06-26-2006 07:18 PM
