But maybe I will never sleep again...
I don't know

And maybe I will never feel again...
I hope so

Awake alone
by myself I'm so alone...

ILL NEVER EVEN CLOSE MY EYES

srt-4 01-18-2007 10:10 PM

if the sun's on its way
then we will never die
and we'll follow these tracks

Cursive is more emo than the emos.

bottlerocket 01-19-2007 07:43 AM

Sing me to sleep...

Luxor 01-19-2007 10:34 AM

Oh puppy goo goo... fetch me a dream.

RetiredAt21 01-19-2007 10:55 AM

I don't like Cursive at all. Saddle Creek stuff isn't really my cup of tea, 'cept for that band that Conner sings for...and it starts with a D. I can't remember, but that band is pretty good.

pixiesfanyo 01-19-2007 11:02 AM

Cursive is so good.

Only people that have no clue about anything don't like them.

RetiredAt21 01-19-2007 11:03 AM

Well, most of the people around here listen to them just because they are on Conner's label.

pixiesfanyo 01-19-2007 11:06 AM

Hm. Sounds like a comment someone that has no clue about anything would say.

XD

cobert 01-19-2007 11:06 AM

Ive dug the couple of Cursive songs Ive heard.

RetiredAt21 01-19-2007 11:07 AM

Suck my balls, Jared.

bottlerocket 01-19-2007 11:09 AM

Justin, you should check out Cursive. They're MAD good.

I love Bright Eyes, too. :D

pixiesfanyo 01-19-2007 11:17 AM

Domestica is one of the best albums ever.

Yeah, that band. They are sweet. I love the song "Man And Wife, The Latter." Soooooo good.

lunchforthesky 01-19-2007 12:30 PM

Is that the one with the bass intro?

If so its an amazing song.

whiteminority 01-19-2007 01:56 PM
Sing me to sleep...
The Smiths? Dude I have been to listening to that song (Asleep by the Smiths if we're thinking different songs) constantly since I downloaded it last night.

Yes. It is an amazing song. I love it.

bottlerocket 01-19-2007 02:27 PM

Yeah.

I'm listening to the mix I made from "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." It's all the songs talked about in the book that Charlie likes, puts on mixtapes, etc.

whiteminority 01-19-2007 02:32 PM

...
Gav that is weird as hell, I was going to do the same thing this weekend because I just read that yesterday.

bottlerocket 01-19-2007 02:46 PM

I've loved that book since sophomore year. SO amazing.

Luxor 01-19-2007 07:09 PM

Old girlfriend was into that book when we were like 17. Always wanted me to read it but I never got around to it.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 01-19-2007 07:25 PM

Have any of you guys read Slaughterhouse 5? I heard it was good and I've been meaning to buy it.

Matt? 01-19-2007 07:57 PM

i read it in my sci fi class. read it it's good

Matt? 01-19-2007 07:59 PM
I feel like unless you read it during your more awkward, adolescent stage, then it won't resonant and then just feel melodramatic and puerile.
i haven't read it but i remember a friend of mine recomended prozac nation for me cause she read it at one point, so i picked it up and after five or so pages i was just like "what the f'uck all she does is b'itch and moan" and stowed it under my bed ashamed i even had it in my possesion

edit: this seems like a random ramble post which it probably is but i thought it paralleled that kinda

Assfactor S'more

It Turns Light Brown
It Turns Dark Black
It Brings Me Joy
It Gets Me Full
