50 Lions are excellent live and their new album is great. I think I may like them b/c the lead singer is Winston's brother (from PWD)
no ****? thats awesome.

eurgh, just checked out adtr's myspace for dates.. and listenend to that awful, awful song they got embedded on their profile. terrrribbbleee.

never seen JFAC, friend at work said they were awful live. I'd like to hold judgement just cause i think entombment is going to be kiiilllllllaaaaa

2muchket! 01-01-2010 06:06 PM

Skin and Kerno said they were absolutely awful live. Seen a load of other vids which has proved them pretty much right.

ABR will be quality live, they were good recently.

phil_ares 01-01-2010 06:07 PM

see fred said they were mint, but he liked red shore.

Nepenthe 01-01-2010 06:07 PM

would kill to see trap them live

2muchket! 01-01-2010 06:09 PM
see fred said they were mint, but he liked red shore.
nevertoolate 01-01-2010 06:11 PM
would kill to see trap them live
yes I am dying to see them, and its 3 weeks away :p
what we got?

lamb of god, jfac, btbam, august burns red, adtr and architects?
saw Architects and ABR recently with PWD (a dude stage dived in a wheel chair during PWD) and adtr with The Acacia Strain and Suicide Silence (surprisingly good live) but I must say my fave gig was Dillinger Ecsape Plan, ETID and Poison The Well early last year and Brutal truth and Captain Cleanoff a couple weeks ago a close second.

phil_ares 01-01-2010 06:13 PM

whereabouts in aus you from?

nevertoolate 01-01-2010 06:15 PM

Melbourne. How far away from Liam do you live?

phil_ares 01-01-2010 06:16 PM

like 50 yards, if he's at home. 30 minutes drive if not.

but we're never apart, spiritually.

nevertoolate 01-01-2010 06:17 PM

lol how sweet, I know one guy on here who lives about 5 minutes drive away but thats it tbh

beans 01-01-2010 07:22 PM

idk, i guess this site cures my boredom

Apoc 01-02-2010 01:58 AM

The Echo Verses is utter badass, definitely one of my recent favorites.

it would have made my top ten list if half the album wasn't rereleased EP tracks.

witchxrapist 01-03-2010 05:13 PM

I've been binging on Poison The Well so hard lately.

Their entire discography ****ing rules.

beans 01-03-2010 05:16 PM

thats funny

i've been bumpin the tropic rot and you come before you a lot lately
i wasn't listening to them at all for a while

agreed though
****in amazing

witchxrapist 01-03-2010 05:30 PM

Yeah, I haven't listened to them like this since high school.

NP: Grain Of Salt

I remember I used to hate Jeffrey's vocals on this, but now I really really love them. The highs are pretty ****in' skramz.

EDIT: Oh wow, derp, not Jeffrey on there, hahaha.

xMalcolmXx 01-03-2010 05:37 PM

that happens to me every few months with them. ptw and converge are probably the only bands i could listen to their entire discography all the way through without wanting to kill myself at the end.

witchxrapist 01-03-2010 05:41 PM

I can't listen to Converge's disco all the way through because I have to be in a different mood than I generally am in to listen to a lot of their earlier stuff, Orchid, The Appleseed Cast, Neil Perry, Evergreen, Circle Takes The Square, and Envy on the other hand...

Thursday was up there, but they ruined it with Common Existence, and Underoath ruined it when I got older and stopped listening to their EPs.

xMalcolmXx 01-03-2010 05:51 PM

i know what you mean about converge, but once i start playing something by them i usually end up not wanting to listen to anything else anyway

and i was going to put the black dahlia murder on there too but then i remembered deflorate even existed

witchxrapist 01-03-2010 05:54 PM

I forgot to put TBDM on my list. I like Deflorate a lot more than Nocturnal actually.

RetiredAt21 01-03-2010 05:58 PM

EDIT: oops lol

Si1v3RfaNg 01-03-2010 08:04 PM
I forgot to put TBDM on my list. I like Deflorate a lot more than Nocturnal actually.
Really?

witchxrapist 01-03-2010 08:42 PM

Yeah, it's less of the same for once, probably because of the new guitarist.

Si1v3RfaNg 01-03-2010 08:51 PM
Yeah, it's less of the same for once, probably because of the new guitarist.
Yeah the solos are definitely a lot better.
