I was playing drums, and then out of nowhere my top hi-hat inverted!...so i took it off and tried to put it back to normal, and it cracked!:upset:, i ended up pulling off an entire inch all around the cymbal...it was horrible!

A few years ago when I was regularly gigging with this band, I kept having a reoccuring nightmare that my kit would fall apart on stage.

my kit DID fall apart on stage a few times...left handed drummer trying to set a right handed kit up enough that i could play it for a couple songs...the hi hats and floor tom kept falling off the riser...then there was the other show that my stool fell off the riser, and i didn't wipe out...crazy stuff...that was when i was like 13 though

I have a craving for sour candy.
And mustard.
And I want to watch American History X but I can't find the disc.

Well, I went with a tour group, but with all people from my school, so there were 30 of us and 5 adults that really didnt care a whole lot. Our tour guide was AMAZING, she knew so much, was really helpful, incredibly funny and really nice.

it was awesome, because we saw so much, spent a lot of time at places, but still had a bunch of free time (like 2-3 hours a day, where we would wander off wherever).

Anyway, list of places I saw (I'm not going to get into great detail)
-The colosseum
-The Roman Forum
-Piazza Navona
-The Trevi Fountain
-1st century Christian catacombs
-Trajan's Market
-Victor Emanuel Monument (Italian unity monument)

- Ostia Antica (A Roman colony, it was INCREDIBLE)
-The Vatican (I climbed to the top of the dome in St. peter's, I saw the tomb of John Paul II, and St. Peter, attempted to initiate a conversation with the Swiss guard in german, and got a mail clerk pissed off at me)
-The Sistine Chapel
-FLORENCE!! (I love this town, the duomo was incredible. I saw the David, and a building in which, Machaivelli wrote the Prince, Leonardo lived with Michelangelo, and where he built the flying machine, and where galeleo had his telescope)

-St. Paul Outside the Wall
-The steps where jesus was condemned

I fell in LOVE with gelato, as did our entire group. The last day, when everyone needed to use up their cash, we just bought gelato like nothing else, it was insane. Favorite Gelato flavor: Fragola, it's heaven


Nah, we didn't make it to Venice, we stayed in Florence and Rome. The company was EF tours, they did such a great job with us. The kind of un-americanized the tour for us, so we got more exposure to Italian culture, it was great. Our guide, man, she was incredible, I can't even explain it. She connected so well with the group, she was crying a bit when we said goodbye to her. Everyone already misses her.

ahh thats good...we had an awesome tour guide too...she was quite sexy as well:thumb: ...but that was only for one part of the tour...our full-time guide was great as well...one of the guys in the tour (really funny guy) got her lingerie as an inside joke...

There were bill boards of this store everywhere and he asked her what it was and she said "its a lingerie store" and they were talking about it the whole tour...so at the end he got her a pair of underwear it was funny.

Best part of the tour was me bringing my RHCP drum book with me:D, i was playing on my legs the whole three weeks...(one week tour, two weeks of visiting family)

I never go anywhere during summer..

I did go to my friends and watched Saw though. Good movie. It wasn't REALLY scary. The worst part is where Adam hears the guy in his apartment and looks for the guy with the flash of his camera, then he opens the closet and takes a picture, and the SAw guy is right there and jumps on him..

We were with Globus.

We saw Rome, Florence, Venice, and a bunch of stuff in between...we saw everytihng imaginable in all those places.

We even stopped and say Juliet's balcony...

the proper one I mad was better, but it made it like 30kb so I had to take some of the best frames out :(
