This is totally probably completely off-topic, but I'm trying to get back into metal a bit, and I just got Gorgoroth's "Twilight of the Idols" CD which I really like.

But what the hell is this with there is now 2 Gorgoroths? I just saw **** on the youtube reviews of videos... something about 2 Gorgoroths, one with Infernus, and one with Gaahl? Something? Help?

I heard Gorgoroth split and Gaahl's project is going to be called Godseed or something. Infernus will keep going with Gorgoroth I guess.

Yeah there was a big lawsuit between gaahl/king and infernus to see who had the right to use the name. Gaahl and King kicked out Infernus for not contributing so Infernus brought up a suit because he started the band and had legal rights to use the name. Infernus won the suit.

word. ive been checking their stuff on youtube a lot. I really dug the stuff on Twighlight of the Idols, but didn't erally like anything from Incipit Sathanas. Pentagram's stuff seems kinda cool... more in line with early Darkthrone.

Antichrist and Under the Sign of Hell are my favorite albums of theirs. Twilight of the Idols and Pentagram are pretty good too.
