sexymuffin 11-05-2006 01:58 AM

why's that?

Eliminator 11-05-2006 01:59 AM

who is Holy Crap This Will Destroy You?

asymm 11-05-2006 02:03 AM

okay, jesus, tonight was pretty fun I s'pose. But everyone left too early..

We listened to a few things at the party. The first one was inappropriate:
SunnO))) & Boris - Altar
Then it was:
Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Planet
then
Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor

It turned out pretty well. Suzanne came over after she had to work 'til 12. That was a really nice surprise. I need more water to tone down my drunkenness.

Zmev 11-05-2006 02:15 AM

I have no idea what the fuck asymm is talking about, did he go to some satanic meeting or something

sexymuffin 11-05-2006 02:17 AM

he was sacraficing gofers with his pals and one of his cousins

hardly satanic

Zmev 11-05-2006 02:19 AM

that would explain who this "suzanne" character is

sexymuffin 11-05-2006 02:23 AM

definately

hey asymm, if you love satan so much, why don't you marry him?

lmao!

mick7 11-05-2006 05:36 AM

The first disc is pretty fun, and the second is fantastically put together. I'll never Bow Wow Wow in the same way again, I believe.

I was reading this:

Man that album is good. They sound like their name, really...swirly. Or something. Bell is an awesome song.

mr_jackalope 11-05-2006 08:06 PM

I gotta keep exploring shoegaze more thoroughly I'm convinced now. Dear god let there be more gems like that hidden in the early 90s, please.

But for now I'm listening to a Lambchop b-sides comp called Tools in the Dryer. I'm convinced this band is a national treasure.
