i just started a new workout routine and i wanted to start eating better. i needed more protein. today i ate chicken fingers and they were pretty good.

i would definitely like to be vegetarian again but it's just like not good for my diet.

Being vegan is also expensive. My sister is a vegetarian and she tried going vegan and couldn't afford all of the alternative bullshit she would have to use.

being a vegetarian is good, you all should consider it. I love meat, steak is my favorite thing in the world but if you consider the environmental impact you make, it's pretty awesome to do it. Plus overfishing and inhumane animal treatment are just as dire. Recently I've been thinking of switching to soymilk also, idk if i can do vegan yet.

obviously responsible meat consumption would be the ideal but consumerism and other factors have driven the american people in particular far away from that ideal. therefore, the statement you make by being a veg combats that lifestyle and the consequences it has much better. and im sure an intelligent person like yourself knows that there are plenty alternatives to meat that offer protein and other minerals found in meat.

i'm pretty sure if i lived in the woods on my own and did my own responsible hunting and fruit/veggie growing that would be perfect but unfortunately

Eating eggs isn't really like eating meat because the eggs aren't fertilized.

Unless you mean like obtaining the eggs and milk and **** from the animals forcefully, then okay. But I don't really care about that. I'm vegetarian because it helps keep me healthy and feeling good. I couldn't care less about animal suffering.

i originally did it for health reasons too but you should read some material about slaughterhouses and the meat and egg industries, it had me convinced pretty fast
