Keeping this in mind, the actual track listings are far more – how should I put it – down to earth than “Laiad Kayenth”, “Paramnesia”, “Luminesce Kaon” and other ‘painted sepulchers, and any would-be ‘Cagliostros’ out there might want to factor this in (as opposed to using Lateralus as a template) when concocting any future bogus titles to disseminate on the web (for whatever reason).[/QUOTE]

It doesn't grab me yet, but than again, no Tool album did grasp me after the first listen.

I agree that the vocals at the beginning are a tad high and slightly annoying, but i think that the vocals for the remainder of the song are amazing, and in my opinion better than anything Maynard has done before. Sure, the lyrics are a bit immature and don't exactly make the song a mind-opening experience, but i guess in the logical progression of things (Hooker With A Penis, Ticks and Leeches, The Pot [?]), every album has to have the token angry tool song :p (haha, everyone remembers 81st Chakra)

In the context that Blair was using, they are saying they would contradict their views by making a decoy album. Which is why I was wondering why that person had made that particular quote.

UK release dates suck for games, but rule for Tool albums it seems. KH2 and the new FF11 expansion havent even hit the release date charts in my shops yet :(

That sucks. The London date ones sold out all standing quick, but sitting (i think) are still available.
