Lars led the way for the RIAA to do what they did. Napster was a fan based service for other fans. If fans were smart, they'd take a stand. However, they don't, so they suffer. Music is for us, not them. Without the fans, there is no music biz.

Lars is Metallica. There's no seperating the two. If I was in the band and I felt strongly about it, I'd either toss him or quit the band rather than be in it with a greedy self centered egomaniac like him. So rather than leave the band or break up their cash cow, they say we didn't support hi, yet we'll keep on milking ya'll out of whatever we can.

I think that Metallica doesnt realise how much money they could make by going back to an 80's style album. They would get all the new fans they made by changing to buy it, then when word gets out "Its another 80's stye thrash album", all the old timers that dont like new Metallica would go out and buy it.

It would probobly end up being one of the best selling albums EVER.

Yea, but they cant kick him. They're like a family now. It's like when someone in your family is ignorant, and you hate him sometimes, but you cant just take him out of your family for being pathetic. You kinda just have to deal with it.

If it was all for money right now, I dont think they would have released St. Anger because album itself doesn't sound like it would make alot of money. Even earlier metallica sounds more radio friendly than st. anger imo especially with those drums. That's probably why I never heard any song other than st. anger on the radio. So maybe they're trying to go back to their old times, but can't? I dont know. They're the only ones that know what's going on in their minds.

It was hard when I was first started learning it but after like 30 minutes of practice it was easy.

The ktulu is hard, im learning that now, and the string skipping is difficult. But i should be able to get it down soon.

Well, if you practice for awhile, NEM is fairly easy. If you can't play Of Wolf and Man you need lessons because it is a very easy intro to play. Call of the Ktulu was easy until i found out I was playing it wrong... but now I'm good for that.
