but I bet he could have written some really good solos for that song...just listen to what he did on Kill em all. He can RIP!
you dont think the solos on the four horseman fit? one of them is dave's! |
Yeah, but so can Hammet. Metallica's attitude isn't quite of Mustaine's.
Metallica with Dave: Kill Em' All Ride The Lightning (A Little Bit) Just Dave: Killing Is My Business.....And Business Is Good Rust In Peace Peace Sells You get the idea After Dave faded away, MoP happened. An album I think is pure Metallica. I think that's what Metallica was looking to make up until they did, and they did it without Dave involved. Edit: Sorry, came late. |
You realise Marty Friedman is more deserving.
it's more of an opinion. and to be honest stevie ray vaughan is the best guitarist on that list, no question. i voted for hammett because he has more of an impact on my playing and about the four horsemen, yes i liked it but i liked fade to black |

Shame really, since we have no idea what mustaine would have done with MoP. I didn't ask for your preference, or what album was better. I said MoP was the sound Metallica was looking for, and they found it without Mustaine. So to restate my thesis: MUSTAINE DID NOT FIT METALLICA |
yea that's one thing i forgot to mention
Metallica is the biggest metal band EVER. If they became big without Mustaine, what makes anyone think they'd be better with him? |
yea that's one thing i forgot to mention

They couldn't have done it without Dave. |
All in all I doubt metallica would be where they are now if dave was still in the band.
|
yea they wouldn't be anywhere near where they are if dave stayed. they became really famous because of RTL, MOP, and the Black album
|
Hell **** Satan Die Rape KIll All ****t asss bitch cun.t
666 satan has come for you!! Sorry 666th post, but yeah i think they would've been like slayer, not really exploring new grounds and just staying pure thrash. |
But around KEA era, and before KEA was released Dave was crucial to the band. He helped get them started big time.
|

I know, that's why I listed them. Notice how violent and aggressive the names dave Mustaine are associated with are, and then when he's gone that attitude kinda faded away? |

i was thinkin you'd make a better post than that, n00b
i don't know if you're familiar with forums, but here that's called spam. not many people like spam. people like thought out posts. just lettin ya know. and welcome! |
Yah it was definitly better that Mustaine left. I mean, i have nothing against him, but as has been stated before: After he left Metallica made so many great songs, with so many memorable Kirk solos.
And another important thing is that if Dave never left, there would be no Megadeth, so i think that it was overall better for the metal world for him to leave. Im not saying every band should kick out a good member so he can form another good band. Im just saying that it was lucky that Mustaine was so succesfull after his short and sweet run with Metallica. |

I think mustaine and the guys should hook up one more time for one more album....I think that would be kick ***!
Lineup: James Hetfeild-Rhythm Guitar And Vocals Kirk Hammett-Lead Guitar Dave Mustaine-Lead Guitar And Vocals Lars Ulrich-Drums Rob T.-Bass that would be a kick *** album if they went back to the 80s style! |

There would still be Fade To Black, Burton wrote that song after the band's equiptment was stolen, Kirk wrote the solos.
Mustaine is far superior, in my opinion, not because of the technical skill compared to the two, but what Mustaine has done with himself. Completely self-taught, he could be a role model to anyone. He has had some of the best musicians by his side. Think about it, Dave Ellefson, Nick Menza, Marty Friedman (Or Chris Poland). I agree he's a bit of an emo bitch sometimes, but when he's not, he's seriously deserving of being a role model. Metllica with Mustaine, would be pretty sick. I'm glad they kicked Mustaine out though, Megadeth > *. And, mustaine helped write some of MoP, but doesn't get credit for it. |

HAHA, SKOM 2 is all i can say. |

i don't know if you're familiar with forums, but here that's called spam. not many people like spam. people like thought out posts. just lettin ya know. and welcome!
thanks...whenever I write thought out posts elsewhere no-one reads them. I really like Metallica's old music, the new stuff is not nearly as good. It seems that they are selling out, in my opinion. I hated it when Avril sang "Fuel" she messed it up badly. |

in some respect I agree...but I think dave would be laid back more than lars and james. I think dave would be more like kirk(if he doesnt get drunk  )I but the real prize would be the outcome of the recording. SICK! |
are or arent?
what are you talking about?
There would still be Fade To Black, Burton wrote that song after the band's equiptment was stolen, Kirk wrote the solos.
na, james wrote that song. |
