Who do they compare to?
Any loud garage/punk bands. Drive Like Jehu, Rocket from the Crypt, etc.

Listen to "If Credit's What Matters I'll Take Credit", "Automatic Midnight" or "Our Work Fills the Pews" (all from Automatic Midnight) for a good idea of their sound.

Any chance of an upload? I'll love you forever and then some.

Zmev 06-08-2006 06:32 PM

You can get it on Soulseek, my name on there is the same here.

prurient 06-08-2006 06:36 PM

I am in love with Cansei de Ser Sexy.
Any chance of an upload? I'll love you forever and then some.
Yeah, go the soulseek option. I can't really upload because I use a modem connection when at home. You can get it from me on soulseek but I'm not on very often and my connection is slow, so go Zmevvy.

The Proposition finally came out in Canada, and I'm possibly seeing it this Saturday :-D I'm excited to see what Guy Pearce and John Hurt can do with a Nick Cave script.

There was a thing on the news today...some lady took her son to a playground, and didn't notice until she got home her kid had a hyperdermic needle sticking out of him. I mean, the kid was ok, but you'd think you'd pick up on something like that a little quicker...

Kurtz 06-08-2006 08:49 PM

Wow, I just had the single most confusing physical incident happen to me today.

So we're playing baseball in PE, and I go up to the plate to bat. I swing as hard as I can on the first pitch, and the second after I made contact, I heard my upper arm crack, like cracking knuckles. For a second I thought I dislocated it, but I ran anyways.

By the time I'm on first, for some reason my vision started to get blurry and my hearing was fading away. Also, my arm was killing me. Thankfully there were two out right after that so I was done with running, but my vision was HORRENDOUS; I couldn't see clearly at all, I could just see basic colors.

By then I was starting to get really, really drowsy. I started falling everywhere, but my friends just thought I was fucking around (some friends huh). I felt like I was about to pass out. We finally got called in to change, and by now I just felt like hitting the floor. But, I drank some water, and everything went away except for the pain in my arm. Apparently, it's just a sprain.

That was that only time all year I've been truly scared.

Matt? 06-08-2006 08:55 PM

that happened to me once, in a snowboarding accident, like the vision and drowsy thing, but i couldn't move, it was scary

Zmev 06-08-2006 08:57 PM

I hit a lot of triples and home runs in pe baseball because Im a stud.

Luxor 06-08-2006 09:00 PM

i usually don't come home from snowboarding without getting a concussion :)

i should probably start wearing a helmet

prurient 06-08-2006 09:07 PM

I usually don't come home from snowboarding without dying.

Zmev 06-08-2006 09:14 PM

I usually don't come home from snowboarding because I never go.

Wait.

Little Man being Erased 06-08-2006 10:01 PM

Get fucked you bums that live places where you can go snowboarding whenever you want.

That would be very few places.

prurient 06-08-2006 10:06 PM

I live in Los Angeles. We don't know what snow is.

Kurtz 06-08-2006 10:15 PM

It never snows here :(

prurient 06-08-2006 10:17 PM

Everyone knows that, kid.

BillCosby 06-08-2006 10:22 PM

It hails every once in a while. But it melts right away.

Zappa 06-08-2006 10:28 PM

I've started recording quite possibly my best work to date. I have had a melody (vaguely related to a girl) insistently sticking in my head for weeks, but never had the chance to sit and work with it productively. Today I got an accompaniment part, and I was off and running.

Happymeal 06-08-2006 10:28 PM

Man do I hate that white stuff.
