Christian fundamentalist?
ugh, sounds like it.

I'm winning a school award tonight, I think it's for service. I'm not a fan of maths...I get into some stuff in my Maths A class but so many things have so many minor details that need to be considered. I'm always about half a mark away from getting an A-.

Hey moz, if you see this AIM me, just to tell you something.

Iai 11-03-2005 06:11 AM

Racing to finish an essay merely hours before the deadline is fun.

morrissey 11-03-2005 06:15 AM

It's even more fun racing to finish it days after the deadline.

I just finished my damn essay about 5 minutes ago, submitted it electronically and everything. Now I just have to go drop off a hardcopy at the university later today and I have no more official schoolwork until december.

Iai 11-03-2005 06:28 AM

Lucky you.

This is my third essay this week.

Edit: That's a point, I have no idea where to submit this one. Hmmm.

morrissey 11-03-2005 06:30 AM

My school > your school, I think.

Good luck though! B-)

br3ad_man 11-03-2005 06:31 AM

Iai, I've turned two of my friends into Magic Numbers fanboys. Well, one is a fangirl. :D

Iai 11-03-2005 06:33 AM

Awesome.

I turned my girlfriend into an Afghan Whigs fangirl this weekend.

Iai 11-03-2005 06:36 AM

On another, slightly related point, I love how disarmed people get when they find out how much I love The Magic Numbers. Most people (especially those who can access my hall's iTunes network) think I only listen to stuff they've never heard of because I'm trying to make a point or something. It just makes me laugh that people can't get it through their heads that maybe, I have so much music because I love a lot of the mainstream stuff I know, and just want more.

br3ad_man 11-03-2005 06:38 AM

No one has heard of them here. They get played on JJJ a bit though. Hopefully I'll get some money before BDO tickets sell out so I can see them.

How's your girlfriend (Karen?) going? The not wierd one? :p

Iai 11-03-2005 07:28 AM

Karen? Man, we broke up months ago. :p

I'm with a girl called Hayley now, and it's the best relationship I've ever been in. We've known each other for about 3 years, and we've been dating for 3 months.

Hah, it looks like I'm going to be a teacher.

Teaching post-punk 101?

Iai 11-03-2005 01:15 PM

Elitism: The Cliff Notes will presumably not be taught on this course, because everyone knows Cliff ripped off Pere Ubu anyway.

piopio 11-03-2005 01:17 PM

hi...damn...so bored...
Elitism: The Cliff Notes will presumably not be taught on this course, because everyone knows Cliff ripped off Pere Ubu anyway.
I thought Cliff was more of a Geezer Butler follower, but yeah it sucks that he got crushed by a bus :(

Iai 11-03-2005 02:20 PM

Cliff Richard = funnier than Cliff Burton.

YDload 11-03-2005 02:21 PM

That was a fast reply. I don't even know who you're talking about!

Iai 11-03-2005 02:24 PM

http://www.onlyolivia.com/music/albums/data/cliffr.jpg

lol.

Edit: this one's funnier.

The second one is blocked <.< >.>

Iai 11-03-2005 02:26 PM

Hmm.

Oh well, the student union is calling me with its cheap drinks and offer of escape from this cruel world. Bye. :)
Teaching post-punk 101?
Probably American History since I'm majoring in Mexican American History and minoring in American History. I can tie the two together as long as I have a teaching degree.

Zmev 11-03-2005 02:41 PM

I'm stuck in this room for 80 minutes, take me with you Iai!

Iai 11-03-2005 02:45 PM

I lied. There's nobody good in there so I came back and made cheese and Guinness.

Zmev 11-03-2005 02:45 PM

....the offer is still there!

Iai 11-03-2005 02:46 PM

oh zmev

Zmev 11-03-2005 02:48 PM

66 minutes left.

Iai 11-03-2005 02:49 PM

Listen to Nothing Lasts But Nothing is Lost. That's about 66 minutes, right?

Why are you trapped in a room anyway?

sweboy 11-03-2005 02:50 PM

Are you in some kind of freaky reality show, Zmevinator?
