Meatplow 05-03-2010 09:53 PM

that was incredibly camp, most Laibach is though

woman putting her lips to the phallic pipe thing was strangely erotic

Jaundice 05-03-2010 11:11 PM

hey haz if you like burroughs noise recordings you should probably read Ticket That Exploded

they're making tape loop experiments to brainwash and control people and apparently the book was partially written through the tape experiments he was recording at the time, plentyu obscure

Morumbar 05-04-2010 01:39 AM

Meatplow 05-08-2010 09:59 AM

I need more Godflesh, relistening to Streetcleaner

Slipping Away 05-09-2010 08:12 PM

I'm about to listen to Streetcleaner too, will be the first time in a while...Also I really like the HTDA song looking forward to the ep

FatalEnergy 05-09-2010 08:15 PM

Album is heavyyyyyyyy.

Ventriloquist 05-11-2010 04:27 PM

I'm missing the Current 93's 25th year gig :( and Andrew W.K. is playing the bass for them ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh they had to put that in the exams time.

FatalEnergy 05-11-2010 04:55 PM

I always liked Foetus, but only gave them that casual listen.

But now I'm REALLY listening to them, and I've learned that Thirlwell is a ****ing genius.

I have Ache, Nail, Thaw, and Deaf. I need more. What should I get? (mainly directed @meatplow)

Ventriloquist 05-11-2010 05:03 PM

You have to have Hole. It's my favourite and the first Foetus album I've listened to.

FatalEnergy 05-11-2010 05:14 PM

Yeah, I'm downloading that now.

Meatplow 05-11-2010 07:52 PM

Yeah, you need Hole. You are only missing Gash, Flow and Love as far as I can tell, get them all.

That doesn't even begin to cover his collaborations and side projects, something i've sadly neglected. I did buy a Manorexia album a while back, I remember it being alright.

FatalEnergy 05-11-2010 09:20 PM

I have the new Manorexia album and it's pretty good.

The lyrics to "I'll Meet You in Poland Baby" are awesome.

Meatplow 05-11-2010 09:52 PM

idk if you've heard Raymond Watt's Pig but he reminds me of a darker more industrial-metal J.G.

FatalEnergy 05-11-2010 09:58 PM

I came by Pig on last.fm, and it seemed like something I'd like.

Anything I should check out in particular?

Meatplow 05-11-2010 10:47 PM

i've only heard The Swining and A Poke In The Eye With A Sharp Stick, get the first one.

RouteOne 05-12-2010 02:23 PM

Been on a real dark ambient kick lately.

Meatplow 05-12-2010 09:49 PM

what have you been listening to

I need some more

Meatplow 05-13-2010 11:12 PM

just learnt of the existence of Suckdog! Drugs Are Nice: A Suckumentary

downloading now

what? lol

FatalEnergy 05-14-2010 11:26 AM

Andrew has been with them on and off through out the years on bass.

RouteOne 05-14-2010 12:01 PM
what have you been listening to

I need some more
Simulacra, Laudanum, Post Scriptvm, and Lull.

Ventriloquist 05-15-2010 09:20 AM

Haz Angst is as good as Naive WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE. God I'm loving KMFDM so much nowadays.

edit: OK almost as good as. too much guitar and some of the solos are terrible. also they are saying KMFDM way too much ugh

Meatplow 05-15-2010 09:44 AM

I'm not sure if you mean Nihil or not (I can't remember praising Naive all that much on here though I still love it), but it is probably still the best industrial metal album i've ever heard.

Angst was my first of theirs, I have a nostalgic spot for it. I dislike the majority of their discography but there are 3 or 4 albums i've played to death.

Ventriloquist 05-15-2010 09:48 AM

Nah I meant Naive because Nihil better than all of them.

Meatplow 05-15-2010 09:56 AM

have you got Money?

I love that album so much

Ventriloquist 05-15-2010 09:59 AM

nope I have Angst, Nihil and Naive

Meatplow 05-15-2010 10:23 AM

Xtort and Symbols have some awesome songs, they start getting really patchy though.

Ventriloquist 05-15-2010 11:34 AM

http://www.box.net/shared/debpmonpij

lil something I did today. voice samples are randomly taken from religulous. it would be a bit boring without them :p feedback please.

RouteOne 05-15-2010 05:47 PM

New Rome is excellent.

Ventriloquist 05-15-2010 06:37 PM

l'assassin ?

RouteOne 05-15-2010 06:38 PM

nos chants perdus

their new full length

Its good, but also a further departure from their classic sound. I like it, but I miss the more industrial elements of their past work.

Ventriloquist 05-15-2010 06:45 PM

wtf they released an album?!

RouteOne 05-15-2010 06:55 PM

Yeah haha. l'assassin was only a prelude to it.

Angmar 05-15-2010 07:10 PM

Man I gotta get on that.
