Any way of finding out what china cymbal Gavin Harrison used on the In Absentia album by Porcupine Tree? Specifically in the song "Strip the Soul" it sounds especially sweet.

Pleaseme 01-29-2008 05:06 PM

Hmmm. I believe he has an Oriental Trash...can't really tell you much else though. Awesome song and album though.

He has two chinas as well, one about 18" or so and a smaller accent-type china.

fishbulb 01-29-2008 05:10 PM

Where can i get a sound clip of that? That is a zildjian cymbal, correct? I don't see it on their website.

oliv_da_skinmasher 01-29-2008 05:13 PM

Not a problem. I'm toying with possibly buyin some A crashes

fishbulb 01-29-2008 05:22 PM

The oriental and Z custom chinas sound pretty good. I also want to look at the 2002's and some of sabians, maybe the paragons.

oliv_da_skinmasher 01-29-2008 05:23 PM

Karsh Kale is amazing. Probably my favorite of the Indian electronic fusion artists.

You should definitely post that up when you've finished it, I love his music.

Little Android Man 01-29-2008 06:48 PM

oliv_da_skinmasher 01-29-2008 09:08 PM

Cool man. What is it?

green242 01-29-2008 09:11 PM

It is.....
A...
08' Ford Ranger.
FX4 package (off road/tow package)
power options, cruise, tilt, 4X4 of course..
Oh, and it was ordered as a 5 speed. Which has a pretty cool older style looking shifter

^^ I like killswitch, and that sucked terribly.
It must really be boaring when you're a vocalist on stage, you have nothing else to do, and you absolutely suck at singing.
