pretty standard imo though i've never been much for brutal death metal except for cryptopsy and a few others

I just listened to an album of a band called Atakhama. DM but with a bit of a BM influence.

It was kinda generic but I did enjoy. It was just overall an good listen. Nothing mindblowing but doesn't always have to be does it!

Anyone else know them?

I have made a new resolution to discover one new Metal band per week and give them a good listen.

Spawn of Possession is pretty weak.

personally I would opt for some Florida or Finland oldschool, but yeah, I'm sure that would set these kiddies right in no time.

It's at early planning stages still. I should clarify that I'm aiming to make it a real business venture* so that mean finding good wholesalers, retail space, building a decent website with credit card facility etc etc. All of which takes time and money. I reckon 6 months till it's off the ground.

I agree with Dargon. I think the only band worth listening to of classic Sweden Death is Entombed. Florida had Morbid Angel, Death, Deicide, etc.

Florida's death metal beats Sweden's for sure.

ok, you couldn't possibly be more wrong, there are tons of great Swedish bands. all I was saying is that Florida bands were a little stronger than Sweden's.

Unleashed is awesome, I'm looking for some Dismember, and I've never heard Carnage.

Grave are pretty good, as are Entombed.
Swedish supposed DM is pretty poor in general though.
