It's not like I'm dropping out of school to play in the band...
My point was that if you're in a rock band it's going to be all about how much you enjoy playing in it, because you never really turn a profit unless you get big.

Mehr...any money is profit or at least cutting even...rather than going into further debt :-\

But playing more experimental music is more fun than Punk too :) Or should be. That's why I'm giving it time to see which I prefer though. I did let my other band know tonight about the situation though...because I like to be upfront about that sort of thing...they took it well :)

birna the band High School Football Heroes that I got from you is awesome :D

Kif 03-27-2006 08:12 AM

There is great news all round! First, I have 5 episodes of 24 I needed, so I can watch them now. Secondly, my school is on strike tomorrow, so there's no lessons. Thirdly, they media teacher's wife has just had a kid, so we don't have lessons with him all week. I have like 4 more lessons this week.

Dead Star 03-27-2006 09:34 AM

Today sucked.

During practice at lunch for BOTB, our guitarist and drummer started arguing, and nearly started fighting. I don't see us playing anymore. So when in Chemistry, we all got a letter saying that S1 and S2 were off tomorrow due to the strikes. I'm in S4. Me =. Then coming home, I was planning on going up to Craft and Design to finish some stuff, but my teacher wasn't in, so I had to run out of the back door of the school, up over the grass, and to the bus stop, as I was running late. So when I was going down the hill at the other end, I slipped and fell on my ***, and when I tried to get up, my ankle buckled, and I fell again. Now my ankle is swollen, my uniform is covered in mud, and I missed the bus anyway.

Now I realised I left my bass in school too.

It has not been my day.

I'm so incredibly bored right now. I kind of wish I hadn't gotten a job. All I do is sit here and answer the phone.

Well hey, my post count on MX has to go up a lot :p

Tjebby 03-27-2006 11:23 AM

I need song titles with the following words or synonyms: Food, Swimming Pool, Poem, Life, Goal, Option, Shield. Soon as possible if you have any answers.

Tjebby 03-27-2006 11:32 AM

thanks.

I'm doing a project where we have to make chapters relative to our theme, which mine is music, and thus, i decided to do chapter titles relative to my theme. but i need them relative to the chapter itself too.

Tjebby 03-27-2006 12:09 PM

Thanks kiffy poo

Kif 03-27-2006 12:14 PM

Oh, I'm caught up on 24 now. I believe nothing that happened at the end of the last episode.

Also, I'm kinda happy that Edgar got a silent clock, since he died like he was falling over. I laughed at that quite a bit.

Tjebby 03-27-2006 12:46 PM

Well this sucks.

Iv seen them play a couple times, they are really good.

Its so nice outside today. I skiped the afternoon to walk around outside.

Tjebby 03-27-2006 01:20 PM

Rainy Day here. Reminds me of the O.C. Rainy Day Women... oh, such a good episode.

weerez1391 03-27-2006 01:20 PM

That's very punk rock :chug: I skipped today too.

That was the best, I mean who dosnt want a upside downspider man kiss.
I should make my boyfriend fall off the roof, just so i can have one.

Kif 03-27-2006 01:24 PM

What if he doesn't have a Spiderman mask?

Season 2 has started re-airing over here to my surprise. I've nearly finished season 1 on DVD, so props to E4 for making their schedule fit my times. I still need to buy that on DVD though, but I want the US version. We Brits got raped of extras (I think we got one commentry)

Jessizzle 03-27-2006 01:27 PM

Ooh I have extras.

I never watch the O.C when its aired because im not home every thursday, so it just gets confusing. To make my life easir, I just rent the discs. I just finished season 2 a couple weeks ago.

Permanent Solution 03-27-2006 01:27 PM

SO I'm filling my app for the apartment out...I think I'm going to go for that. It should be way better than dorms.

But it's hard...like when they ask for address I'm not sure if they want my dorm or my parent's house...and such :-\

It's cloudy here and like 70 degrees. Perfect weather.

Jessizzle 03-27-2006 01:30 PM

I hate applications. I was job hunting, and everywhere that asked for an application over half a page long, i just said f'uck it.

but im pretty sure they want to know where to reach YOU ;)

Permanent Solution 03-27-2006 01:35 PM

But I'll only be at the dorms another...month and a half.

I also don't know if I should put down my job as I'm not working right now, as tht job is in Colorado, not Arizona...so confusing :(

Job apps are wayyyy easier.

weerez1391 03-27-2006 01:43 PM

I'm working at Subway this summer. It's gonna be really awesome cuz no one goes there, so I'll just listen to music and eat pepperonis all day:) Job apps are gay

Tjebby 03-27-2006 01:45 PM

Vince, just put both down. Explain to the man, you know? just be like, "Hey, I live in the dorms until this date, and then I move back to my home in wherever." Then leave contact information for both down.

then tell him you don't have a job at the moment, but when you go home, here is what you do.

Job apps are fun when you have bad handwriting, becuase my mother fills them out for me.

P.S. The only good extras on season 2 are the episodes with commentary.
The others are like Days in the life or something.

I heard the outakes of Marissa and Alex making out are good ;)

Tjebby 03-27-2006 01:51 PM

Oh yeah. Delicous. But that episode and The Chrismukkah That Almost Wasn't are the only good extras... and the only episodes with commentary...

Well if I filled out the job app, you wouldn't be able to read it.

Yeh, I might just wait fo my dad to be back then run to him to fix my problems lol :p

My handwriting is worse than all.

Tjebby 03-27-2006 01:56 PM

yeah. worse comes to worse, parents always know.

Kif 03-27-2006 02:00 PM

I like my handwritting...

Jessizzle 03-27-2006 02:01 PM

I cant wait for season 3 to come out on disc. I mean Marissa shot TRE! and its all Summer-seth, Ryan- marissa

Kif 03-27-2006 02:03 PM

That was in season 2...

And I've really grown bored of The O.C. lately. I think it's the lack of punch-ups and high-school parties that has made the show somewhat boring for me.

Tjebby 03-27-2006 02:04 PM

Season three is on my computer. I haven't seen any since episode 10 though, it wasn't that good.

Kif 03-27-2006 02:05 PM

I stopped downloading at episode 7 I think. I mean, the whole Marissa going to public school thing was kinda good, but it really didn't do much for me. The O.C. needs more Alex. I liked her.

Help :(

Tjebby 03-27-2006 02:13 PM

Alex and Anna represent!

But I liked that one guy, jonnys friend. Chili... i think. He was cool

Vince: My parents did my taxes... or w-2 or w-4 something... I got 24 dollars from that! Also, I only see 45 and 33 rpm. I started buying them, and all I have seen/gotten are 33 for LP's and a few EP's and 45 for EP's only.

If you were granted one call with god, waht would you ask him? (be serious.)
