I still chuckle every time I hear about how Zack and Tom would meet fans after the show, see them wearing the Che Guevera T-shirts and get really pissed when they found out the kids had no idea who the hell Che was.

Me and my brother are learning Acid Rain by Angra, him doing vocals whilst i do the guitars and drums, its so much fun! He lends a hand with the guitar to, hes very good for a 14 year old.

Alot of people recently voted liberal Democrat in the last British election. Mostly students. One of the key ideals of the Liberal Democrat Manifesto is to join the Euro. (Which I don't like BTW, I'm not a perticularly patriotic person, but I just don't like the idea of losing the pound.)
I digress, anyway.These people I talked to about why they voted this way, said that they didn't want to conform. :rolleyes:
I raised the point that if Britain were to join the Euro, they would be just like most other European countries. (in other words....conforming)
They shut up...I'm going to vote green party when the nex election comes around...or Conservative.

Green Party are ridiuclous. They would do nothing for our Country, all they would do is 'cut' emissions by rationing power and fuel, leading us into a situation similar to China at the minute. They care more about animals than humans, and would greatly hinder scientific progress in the areas of drugs and advanced treatments.

And the Lib Dems are ridiuclous. Their sums just don't add up. They say they can cut tax yet increase spending with money that comes out of nowhere, and let more immigrants into the Country? Fu[i]c[/i]k off lads.

Thats how i see it anyway.

Good. I would vote Conservative, because in all fairness, there are TOO MANY LEECHING IMIGRANTS IN OUR COUNTRY. They are destroying our education system especially.

Let's just put it this way. No matter what political direction you swing, there are always going to be groups whom you will feel the need to apologize to everyone else for. For liberals like myself, it's people like diehard socialists. For conservatives, it's the religious right. For environmentalists, it's PETA.

Merely more proof that stupidity is ubiquitous and no one with a decent head on their shoudlers is in charge these days.

Very true. I supported the Liberals (in Canada by the way), and then watched them make asses out of themselves. People who actually care about getting something done stay out of politics and try to make changes in their own communities, like I've heard about people operating businesses successfully based on the principles of participatory economics.

Rhapsody are from Italy. Pretty cheesy even for PM but technicly very good. Got Symphony of the enchanted lands and its kinda growing on me at the moment.

That's the one I've got...Neurotoxin uploaded it. Agreed, though...very cheesy. I heard a bit on an accent when I listened to them and I was trying to pick it out. Thanks. I really like the second song on Symphony

Rhapsody have some brilliant riffs, and are a great band overall, it took me a while to get them, but I really like them now.
I wonder if that may happen with Hammerfall, who are a little meh for me.

Yeah! I hope it does, because I got Chapter V and I hardly listen to it. Maybe I'll try again, now that I'm getting exposed to more of the PM cheese.

When I was first introduced to PM, I couldn't stand the cheese that so much of the music seemed to drip with.
Now that I'm taking another look at all the bands that I rejected at first because of the vocals and the elves and dragonslaying lyrics...I actually really like it. It makes the music seem so much more colourful, vibrant and dramatic.

If you put Michael Van Dyne, Aquiles Prester or Jens Mulushcaka in his place and the music would probably get slightly less annoying.

I don't have a problem with him being average, i have a problem with people saying hes good, when hes not.

And anyway, i guess it just depends whether your listening to the music or touching yourself over the singer.
