hard to say, all i know is i prefer not to know, the news ****s me, i don't give a **** about celebrities who get arrested for drink driving or some ****wit who OD'd on some drug.

We'll I might be finally moving my way up to my first 6 string. After talking to Tr3ize, I might be buying that beautiful Yamaha TRB6 from him. Let's just say i can barely sit in my chair.

News depresses me as well. I figure if knowing about something happening is a requirement for my existance than I will hear about it eventually...

But yeah, Im a huge history buff and it seems like life has gotten alot better, but the news and media is zooming in on everything bad.

Well the mass of people are so concentrated on lives that they could never live that it becomes an addiction. "I wonder what the really popular pop-star is doing so i can re-enact it and try to be popular myslef". Doesn't seem very logical to myself.

Jody LeCompte 10-02-2006 11:51 PM

It just seems like, if one son from a family is killed a war, thats terrible. But what about 100 years ago when a family would bury 7 babies for every child to live past the night of its birth only to die a few years later from a cold or fever?

One Groovin Clown 10-02-2006 11:55 PM

We'll that's also a part of our progression in the western society. Our medicine and technology have take huge bounds in that 100 years, that the amount of deaths become increasingly less. So now there is more of a shock value if a family member dies. But then theres also the contrast with one soldier dying, and an entire city being bombed. The media is really starting to warp our opinions and views of society.

yeah, that way they make more money because more people watch "tradgedies" and more ratings = more sponsors/advertisers

The Brad 10-02-2006 11:58 PM

There's a quote in my art history book from 1900, I believe and it goes a little something like this:
The world has changed more in the past thirty years than it has since the time of Christ.

funkyhoney 10-03-2006 12:00 AM

i just downloaded a 12 song live set from toast machine, damn they're good

Jody LeCompte 10-03-2006 12:00 AM

My gas is never going to get any better :upset:

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:02 AM

It will when you realize you do not require earthly possessions.

Jody LeCompte 10-03-2006 12:02 AM

I love my ovation more than life. But I want to be able to say "Now, do I want to play my ovation or my taylor"

:upset:

EDIT: At some point in time, I'm going to need a normal acoustic anyway

Speaking of Hitler, today in class the teacher wanted words that things that started with the prefix "anti," and I almost blurted out "anti-Semitism," but I withheld it for I didn't want to be known as the class racist. :(

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:09 AM

I wouldn't have taken that as racism...?

Jody LeCompte 10-03-2006 12:12 AM

You might not have, but let's think about it. How many kids immediate thoughts are "anti-Semitism"? :p

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:22 AM

I probably would have said Anti-Christ. :p
But then again, I am an "evil" d00d.

DR Lo-Riders.

Great low and low-mid definition.

You might also want to try the Hi-Beams for a brighter sound or the Fat-Beams (Marcus Miller signature set) for a good mid range.

Basicallt you cannot go wrong with DR

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:35 AM

Sweet Protege.

Jody the kid from Murrieta wants your SR.

antidisestablishmentarianism

I endorse DR strings too. :O
