yea i realyl need a job. i keep tellin myself im gonna start lookign but i never do. :(

i only get 6 an hour cooking...at a steakhouse too...you think they could afford to pay me a little more...grrrr

yea ur telling me...and the kitchen's literally 25 degrees warmer than the outside....last week in was 90 outside and i was in the kitchen for 4 hours

IMO cooks should make the most money in the restraunt/place because thats the reason the people go there. The stupid waitress people make the most and they dotn do crap...hardly.

that's canadian, which equals like 7-9 ish american. i don't know the exchange rate anymore, i heard ours went up substantially, then i heard it went down substantially :confused:

AND they get tips....the only tips i get are "make sure the juice that come out of the meat is pink, that means it's medium rare"

a friend said like a soo(?) chef makes 25 an hour.

thats like 40k a year
5 hours a day, 6 days a week

How cool. I need a job. Speaking of jobs, I just went to an open concert and a band called 'The Fray' was playing there. I was actually in the studio with them when they were recording, so that was quite nice. I think their drummer wants me to tech for em.

Oh and the auction for that mixer finished. I didn't win.

haha dang. that sucks. yea i never liked waiters. they arnt very good and they get tips even though they didnt make the food. if i had it my way id go back in teh kitchen and hand a tip to the cook all the time.

at my work, the beer cart girl was complaining that she only made $30 in tips on her second day. god i hate her.

in december im garaunteed a job as a UPS Technician making 18 bucks an hour.

im really excited!!! im getting my ASE certification on "engine repair and construction", and a chassis builders degree after one semester, i am already certified in the basics (brakes, lube, and electronics) i just have to get all my credits this semester (math, readin etc.) and ill be able to graduate :cool:
