Apocalyptic Raids 05-16-2007 08:38 AM

Ghostface Killah - Fishscale
Daft Punk - Human After All

Boilermaker 05-16-2007 12:25 PM

Blonde Redhead - Melody Of Certain Damaged Lemons

Much better than Misery is a Butterfly in my opinion. The songs connect so well.

Bukowski 05-16-2007 12:48 PM

Can - Tago Mago
Mohinder - Discography
Circle Takes the Square - As The Roots Undo

Neoteric 05-16-2007 12:55 PM

That Can album is pretty good.

Bukowski 05-16-2007 01:01 PM

Lovin' the avatar. I think i'll change mine soon, i think i've only had like 3 since i joined. I can never be bothered.

and yeah, Can are excellent.

All of those own HARD.

Bukowski 05-16-2007 01:07 PM
All of those own HARD.
definitely. I'm getting into emo/screamo quite a bit just now, all I'd really heard before was Indian Summer, Rites of Spring and a few others. CTTS, City of Caterpillar and Gospel are my favourites so far.

The Great Decay 05-16-2007 01:08 PM

You need some Ampere in your life.

Anxious 05-16-2007 01:14 PM
definitely. I'm getting into emo/screamo quite a bit just now, all I'd really heard before was Indian Summer, Rites of Spring and a few others. CTTS, City of Caterpillar and Gospel are my favourites so far.
Those are all the cream of the crop of that genre because they actually change things up melodically. You'd like A Day in Black and White's first album.
You need some Ampere in your life.
They shouldn't be compared to Gospel and Circle Takes the Square. They're generic and horrible.

Bukowski 05-16-2007 01:14 PM

Yeah I've been listening to All Our Tomorrows End Today. Pretty good. I'm listening to Orchid just now, they have some guy(s) from Ampere do they not? I prefer Ampere to Orchid, so far.

Anxious 05-16-2007 01:17 PM

I don't like Orchid because all their songs are the same. Ampere is a little better than that but not much.

I'll check that out. I found an awesome link which you probably know about, and A Daay in Black and White are on it so I'll get that.

http://www.freewebs.com/emo-mb/

Generic or not, I do think Ampere are pretty good, though.

Anxious 05-16-2007 01:24 PM

Is that the forum post with tons of rapidshare links? I can't look at it cause its blocked at my school.

Bukowski 05-16-2007 01:31 PM

It's mostly megaupload links. Basically a ton of emo, screamo and post hardcore albums.

asymm 05-16-2007 01:36 PM

David Bowie - Low
Opsvik & Jennings - Commuter Anthems
Big Star - Third / Sister Lovers

I'm surprised I didn't think that much of it before, but that Bowie record is amazing.

Eliminator 05-16-2007 01:39 PM

ampere are ok

The Jungler 05-16-2007 01:40 PM

The Clash - London Calling
New Bone Thugs gets off to a great start
I thought Flowmotion started it great and then that next song killed it because it reminds me of RHCP.

Tyler 05-16-2007 04:29 PM
"Bump in the trunk" reminds me of something my aunt would say when she's trying to be act young and casual, it's terrible. It doesn't really remind me of RHCP though. 'Flowmotion' has kind of a UK grimey feel, it's really cool.
I just hear that shitty "hump de bump" RHCP song every time I hear it. It doesn't ruin the song for me, though, the actual music does.

Jawaharal 05-16-2007 04:39 PM

T.I. - King

Battles - EP C

Kyle 05-16-2007 06:31 PM

Seeing Battles on Friday. It's also the end of all my work/essays/exams until like September, so it's going to be one mean gig.

pixiesfanyo 05-16-2007 06:34 PM

You gonna jig?

Kyle 05-16-2007 06:50 PM

Oh man, I'm rubbish with slang. Is this dancing or taking drugs? Yes to the former, undecided on the latter.

Also some dumb 'omg nostalgia' mixtape I made for a party of stuff from the 90s, with **** like White Town and The New Radicals and Edwyn Collins and The Wannadies and whatnot.
