YES! I just booked my first driving lesson.. about time too, i'm almost 18 (you have to be 17 to drive in the UK).. its next tuesday.. i've never driven in my life before, it should be interesting!
Okay.
You have to be 17 to drive in the UK, but 18 to drink?
Thats...weird.
You get to drink as soon as you get to go behind the wheel.

Anyways, I think driving is more of a burden than anything.
When I'm not going into a ditch, I'm being honked at by a 75 year old hag.

RushHourSoul 01-09-2006 05:04 PM
Good luck then :)
cheers, i'm really excited, but a bit nervous too.. Being able to drive would be awesome though.

And yeah those laws are pretty stupid, although.. i'm not complaining.

CasB 01-09-2006 05:08 PM

Pfft, I'm 20 and haven't got my driving licence..(you have to be 18 here).

Why not? because I don't have the money for it, and I got other priorities, like my drumkit and beer.

Futuro 01-09-2006 05:08 PM
sic, you have exams on the 26rd????? that's awesome
whoa, i meant to type "16th." that's weird. haha probably due to lack of sleep. i had 3 hours last night, yay. tried to go to bed, couldn't. watched tv. once nothing else was on, i did sit-ups and pushups. something else came on tv. watched it. still wasn't tired. lifted weights. i was tempted to go upstairs and work out on the elliptical my mom bought, but i didn't wanna wake anyone up.

Janeway 01-09-2006 05:26 PM

I want to quit jazz band.
It's so boring, and I'm still a 2nd alto after 5 years of playing in it.
If I do, though, my teacher won't treat me special anymore.
Grr.

styler 01-09-2006 05:35 PM

EverytimeIBodom 01-09-2006 06:46 PM

Hey guys, this is my first time in D&P, and I have a drum related question that doesn't need it's own thread. The other day someone posted a link to a video of an insanely fast drummer. He claimed him to be the fastest drummer there is. Could I get a link? If not to him then to other fast drummers?

RushHourSoul 01-09-2006 06:49 PM

hmm.. just try here for some cool videos.. www.drummerworld.com

Anyway, tonight me and my friends went looking for dogging spots / doggers, to beep at them and laugh. We found one dogging spot near where we live, and sure enough there where doggers there. for anyone who doesn't know what dogging is... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogging

.. yep, we were very bored, and probably a little bit stupid too, oh well it was fun, better make the most of my childhood before im 18.

-TheGlassPrison- 01-09-2006 06:57 PM

im 15.

RushHourSoul 01-09-2006 06:59 PM

hm.. maybe I should put a warning next to that link then.

Brokensticks 01-09-2006 07:13 PM
hm.. maybe I should put a warning next to that link then.
-TheGlassPrison- 01-09-2006 07:17 PM

Meh.
Ive been there, done that.

Undisco Kidd 01-09-2006 07:17 PM

Stuff like that never happens in the states due to the fact that for 99% of the population, a reputation is the most important thing ever.

puppet.master3.0 01-09-2006 07:18 PM
well i got my N woohoo, only leagaly aloud one passanger but who listens to the law these days anyways
