Well, in Anchor Man (if you guys have seen it) did you notice when he is done his jazz flute solo he yells "Hey Aqualung"? When I saw it first I didn't notice it but last night I did and it was a good laugh.
i saw that and busted out laughing and i was in a room full of people and i was the only one that got it.
Anoyone want to reccommend me a Beatles cd? All I have is Sgt Peppers.
I recommend Abbey Road, but you might as well just get more than one, because basically everyone recommends a different album by them.

thickasabrick 01-15-2005 02:44 PM

Funny thing...our local Classic Rock radio station always has like special weekends where they choose a band, and play a lot of songs by them. And then some of their albums late at night...

So I was listening to the radio today, and the radio guy is like "We thought we were clever by making it a Styx and Stones weekend (get it?)...but then we took a vote, and everyone agreed that Styx suck...so now it's just a Rolling Stones weekend."

I found it funny he would actually say that. Anyone else agree with him though?

I would most definitely reccommend The White Album.

But really, you couldn't go wrong if you tried.

To Livewired: It was QSMS's first album

My favorite Beatles album is Abbey Road.

I ordered 3 CD's off cdnow.com:

1. Booker T. & The MG's-The Very Best Of
2. The Kinks-Village Green Preservation Society
3. QSMS-self titled

Tonight is the Tsunami Relief Concert, do not miss it!

I heard Eric Clapton and Roger Waters are performing Wish You Were Here together. And maybe John Mayer will play a good blues song.

Where do you get so much cash?

Woodstock 01-15-2005 04:30 PM

My Christmas money is dwindling away. It'll be gone after my three ordered albums arrive.

Well I've been really getting into both my dvd and cd collections recently. 1 of each might not be bad considering I got 9 cds for christmas, and only 3 movies.

On another note, I'm listening to Band of Gypsies and was wondering if any of you guys had seen the dvd. I'm not sure if its the entire concert or not, but that would be awesome. This is an amazing cd. Anybody know if the dvd is buy worthy or not?

You should do this more often.:D

It was a really quick download and is an amzing song.

Woodstock 01-15-2005 04:50 PM

I've never seen the DVD version. I'm more interested in getting the bootleg, Band of Gypsys 2.

Badmoon 01-15-2005 04:50 PM

Do you know who it is? :)

EDIT: Or does it say on the file name :upset:
