I suppose I am somewhat musically secluded. I never listen to the radio, and the only TV I watch is a few shows once a week. The I get all of my music from here and through exploring blogs and youtube.

my musical knowledge is very dissimilar from a lot of my friends' but i'm willing to listen to whatever they throw at me and to enjoy it so it's actually a pretty cool thing

lots of my friends are all about 60/70s artists, for example, which i know nothing about. when i tell them that i've never really listened to the beatles or neil young, they get wide-eyed and excited
