so i tried to do the Delsym cold water extraction thing the other day, you basically pour 6 oz of the syrup into a jug, fill it with water, let it ferment for a bit and drain the water, check back a few hours later

i looked at it yesterday and it was just gross orange sludge so i figured i messed up and just forgot about it, but i just checked again out of boredom and it's actually dried into a few lines of well crystallized orange powder

i'm a little bit confused lol

well, the article i read said expect sludge after a few hours, then give it another couple of hours to dry out and crystallize

sludge might have been a bad word to use for what i had when i first checked on it, it was basically thick liquid. i'm now confused because two days later after i had already given up on it and moved on it's managed to form into perfect powder

it wasn't like i had a dark childhood or anything like that, its just i was pretty unhappy most the time and i had a kind of awkward, sheltered upbringing

but i tend to only remember the good times anymore

one thing ill never be able to deal with is how much i miss my brother

he wanted to hang out for my birthday, but i just couldnt bring myself to call him :/

i had this group of friends and we called our selves the Froozers

we were the baddest kids in the whole elementary school, we cursed and we knew what sex was so we were kind of like an elite set that you couldn't get into easily
