Hey Lucas:
Let's talk about War of the Worlds. Sincerely, ATM |
Start something about it in the site forum.
He was easily out of line for what he was doing in there. |
I'm glad that whole mess in P&WI is over. But as long as Trilemma is posting there I think I'll avoid it. Unfortunately, he also mods Sports and practically goads me into arguments there too :-\
I'll have to start posting regularly in here, too.
Then I saw that mine went down. Jesus Christ, he deserves to be taken down for this.
 I'm sorry but that made me laugh out loud. Thank you for making my day and good luck trying to 'take me down'. |
WHAT A GOD****ED COWARD.
ATM: Did you like it? Trilemma: Mild hyperbole brought on by incredulity at your utter lack of balls. Who's unwilling to take responsibility for his actions now? You run and hide by deleting the thread so we can't complain about it. And quit trolling this thread. |
Ahhh Gilmour. I watched Live at Pompeii today. Your username made me think of it.
Good movie. They all look so freaking young compared to that Live 8 concert, haha. I barely recognized Gilmour!
Isn't Pompeii great? I absolutely love that movie. So my internet's been down all day, due to a thunderstorm, and I just got it back. Why is Trillemma in this thread? |
Trilemma: Get out. I'm tired of you trolling up this thread, and I'm tired of you abusing your power by blatantly breaking the rules without fear of consequence, and I'm tired of you acting like your some internet god. Get the fuck over yourself, and go back to the Pit where all the idiots think your amazing when all they want is to be your bitch and get rep from you.
Why is Trillemma in this thread?
He has discovered the act of trolling. |
Cain: Yea, I really enjoyed it. I agree with you about not waiting until it comes out on video. People should go see it in theaters.
|
ATTN: Do not respond to Trilemma anymore.
Seriously, just end this whole arguement, and lets go back to a friendly discussion. I realize why you guys where so annoyed and offended, because I was too, but just cut the argueing out. It's best if we try and forget about the whole damn thing. |
Cain: Yea, I really enjoyed it. I agree with you about not waiting until it comes out on video. People should go see it in theaters.
Glad to hear it. My praise for it was rather high, so I'd be disappointed in myself if I uneccesarily increased an expectation. But you enjoyed it anyway, so no worries. :) |
WHAT A COWARD!
Trilemma deleted the thread in which everyone was arguing with him, so we can't cite anything he said or a way he behaved in that thread to bring any sort of complaint to bear against him. What a sniveling little shit! I knew something was amiss when his postcount went down. Then I saw that mine went down. Jesus Christ, he deserves to be taken down for this.
Okay this has officially crossed the line into "fucking ridiculous." At first, I just wanted him to be moved out of the politics forum, but if this keeps up, demodding him is beginning to sound more and more reasonable. On a positive note, Ozric Tentacles are up along with the first two uploads, and more are on the way. |

War of the Worlds, correct? I really liked it as well. I'm into those "apocalyptic end of the world" movies. NP: Radiohead - Airbag |

I'm really diggin it. :thumb: |

I'm dling right now, since I decided to stay up a bit later. They sounds like a great band. |
I love riddles and brain busters.
Here's an extremely easy one: Of only a single color, but not a single size Stuck to the ground, yet easily flies Present in the sun, but never in rain Doing no harm, and feeling no pain. What is it? NP: Deltron 3030
A shadow? |
This was one of the best ones made yet. Rivals 28 Days Later and the original Dawn of the Dead for awesome apocalypse movies. The first hour shell-shocked me, literally. I walked out of the theater shaking. A very harrowing, difficult movie, surprisingly. Anyone seen the original, or heard Orson Welles' radio broadcast? |
The ending didn't really satisfy me. My girlfriend said the book was a lot better, but we both liked the movie.
The freakiest part is when they are in the car. Lucas will know what I mean. |
A shadow?
Shadow's are present in rain. |
Otherside: yeah. I was hoping that that topic would go places, but it won't.
And again, I saw the original War of the Worlds for a Film and Lit class sophomore year. Anyway, I wish I had more to say than this, but I'll just float around. |
Bwuaahhahahhah.. ha.
|

The freakiest part is when they are in the car. Lucas will know what I mean.
Um, yeah. Really freaky and incredibly upsetting. The original movie had a better ending. It was more moving, and more surprising. Plus it took place in a church. They were all praying for a miracle and then the machines stopped. It worked for that one, it wouldn't have really for this one. |
Definitions of fugue:
noun: a musical form consisting of a theme repeated a fifth above or a fourth below its first statement noun: a dreamlike state of altered consciousness that may last for hours or days noun: dissociative disorder in which a person forgets who who they are and leaves home to creates a new life; during the fugue there is no memory of the former life; after recovering there is no memory for events during the dissociative state  |
The dictionary got confused with that word.
|
The ending didn't really satisfy me. My girlfriend said the book was a lot better, but we both liked the movie.
The freakiest part is when they are in the car. Lucas will know what I mean.
The van part was pretty intense. I have no problem with the ending because that's how it was in the book, I'm pretty sure (didn't read it :upset: ). |
The van part was pretty intense.
I have no problem with the ending because that's how it was in the book, I'm pretty sure (didn't read it :upset: ).
I love the book. Although it's totally strange in spots, written as it was at the turn of the twentieth century: like, the tripods fight an ironclad warship and stuff. But this movie was more true to the book on the whole: there were no nuclear weapon allegories like there were in the original movie. |
EDITED OUT FOR CAIN'S TEMPER
|
WAY TO GIVE AWAY THE ENDING STEERPIKE. JESUS CHRIST DELETE THAT POST BEFORE ANYONE ELSE SEES IT.

Whew, im glad my eyes flew straight to your post |
After the movie I tried to scare my girlfriend at the gas station by taking the nozzle and sneaking up to her with it
EDITED OUT FOR CAIN'S TEMPER
Heehee, thanks. Sorry about that. ;) I'm still recovering from the day's events. But I'll get there. |
