PaulSimonon 11-06-2004 07:36 PM

You a Televangelist?

Tryxx 11-06-2004 07:36 PM

Yes...yes I am. And you Paul can be saved if you post your entry for the noob comp!

e p 11-06-2004 07:40 PM

Gav says "hi"

Tryxx 11-06-2004 07:47 PM

Tell Gav I gave him a cookie...

PaulSimonon 11-06-2004 07:50 PM

Now? Has BFAG?

Tryxx 11-06-2004 08:00 PM

He said he'll try in a few days. But technically, the deadline was yesterday.

PaulSimonon 11-06-2004 08:03 PM

Really? I didn't notice.

I actually used my entry for the fingerstyle comp, because I had that other idea, which I'm currently recording.

Tryxx 11-06-2004 08:04 PM

That's fine, I guess you have as much time as he does.

(And the fingerstyle thing pwned :thumb: )

PaulSimonon 11-06-2004 08:05 PM

Argg.... it's so fast.... I need to rest my arm a bit...

*Plays again*

PaulSimonon 11-06-2004 08:05 PM

Thanks! I built it off of a really simple chord progression. It was pretty easy to record too.

popinfresh 11-06-2004 08:08 PM

supercalifragilistic 11-06-2004 08:09 PM

hi all.
it's exactly 3.00 AM right now in Belgium. Just checked my emails and decided to say "nighty night" to y'all.

so....

"Nighty Night"

P.S. I got my driver's license today, wich I'm really proud of. This afternoon I drove my uncle's Saab cabrio(=convertible) with the windows down and "Too Many Puppies" on volume 9 (out of ten). I really felt like some bad-*** bassist.

Tryxx 11-06-2004 08:09 PM

No problem, sounds simple enough. I pick a riff I like and just try and move in a pattern that flows, I gotta work on that.

BassasonicMuthaplucka 11-06-2004 08:19 PM

**** this is one slow thread
i cant imagine driving in a car listening to primus, it just doesnt make sense really.
I do that all the time!!! Sure people stare at me... but i don't care, it's primus dammit!!!

BassasonicMuthaplucka 11-06-2004 09:09 PM

the scene is a quiet suburban neighborhood

Local bassist Mutha Plucka is cruisin along in his hot ride (90 Dodge Dynasty) with Primus cranking.

He pulls up along a group of the fine ladies walking to the shoe store.

"Hello Ladies... whats goin on?"

Jerry Was a Racecar Driver is currently rattling the windows of the car.

"Get the **** away from us, you weird *** mother****er! Your music sucks too."

"So you don't wanna catch a movie?"

"No ****tard!! Jesus!! C'mon girls, lets go to Starbucks."

Later, he tries again with Seven Nation Army playing. Upon hearing the ****ty bass pedal riff, the girls quickly launch into turbo slut mode.

"Hey, Mutha Plucka! Lemme whip some skull on ya!!"

So he gets his poon tang, but at what cost?

(Yes I Have WAY too much time)

BassasonicMuthaplucka 11-06-2004 09:12 PM

Besides, if they blow upon hearing Seven Nation Army, then you'll probably get VD, cause I always hear that **** song.

BassasonicMuthaplucka 11-06-2004 09:22 PM

And now there is one.

e p 11-06-2004 09:24 PM

I think this thread died of VD

BassasonicMuthaplucka 11-06-2004 09:28 PM
