Yeah, sometimes I don't understand it either, but I figure it's some kind of honour name. Like 'Queer', used to be insulting too, now they use it themselves.

Actually I did that too, people constantly called me 'Peer' (Pear) in High school, which was annoying. But eventually, I just accepted it as a nickname, and it was used for years, (see username). It's not used so much anymore though.

I heard the White Cliffs of Dover (I think that's the name of it :-/) a couple of years ago, and I actually wasn't all that impressed. Haven't heard anything past that yet though.

Death metal, Black metal, Doom metal, some Heavy Metal, grindcore, one or two bands in the Power Metal genre, Gothic Rock or Metal, Alternative Rock, some Classic rock, Punk, Pop Punk, Street Punk, some Hardcore, some metalcore, Classical, some Hip Hop, a bit of Jazz, Ska, Pop rock, Reggae, Some Nu metal, Progressive Metal/rock, some Electronic rock, a bit of pop and electronics,

uhmm, I can't think of anything else, I'm probably forgetting stuff though.
