i already went to the one on the 7th-8th. it was an enormous waste of time for me as i am from tucson, but you might find it helpful along with all the time spent waiting around.idk what brunch bbq thing you are talking about but gl hf.
Oh ok. What actually happened aside from meeting with adviser fags? I don't really know what the brunch/bbq thing is either but I think it's like the 20th or 21st. I got something about it in the mail. I didn't look at it for very long.

okay 07-11-2008 05:15 PM

a lot of it is waiting around and taking placement tests and generally trying to wade your way through all the bureaucracy to find out what your classes are, and i think all the walking around is also meant to kind of show the out of staters around a bit. in terms of the advisors, you just first go to a presentation about your college, and then you talk to your advisor and they just answer questions, and then ont he second day they arrange a schedule for you and go over it with you.

p.s. at lunch time they have a bunch of presentations for you to go to but you dont really need to go to any of them, and at the end of the first day they have a free dinner set up where they put these little complimentary dessert coupons on the tables , grab as many as you can because nobody takes them but you can get some good stuff for free with them.

dei 07-12-2008 08:23 AM

I used to hate Sigur Ros a lot because this one time I wanted to get home early to do something but they were playing at the Hollywood Bowl and their asshole fans kept crossing the street at the most random times and so traffic was backed up for like an hour.

niobium 07-12-2008 01:31 PM

bet they were wearing eye patches instead of giant foam fingers

dei 07-12-2008 06:13 PM

okay 07-12-2008 06:14 PM

YDload 07-12-2008 06:31 PM
Says the person who recycles threads topics.
thats way different and far from being as commonplace/annoying as the single-word replies that span pages
i was just trying to change the topic of discussion in a curt manner
