Anyway, I overclocked by AMD 64 3000+ venice to 2.1ghz today, can't seem to get any higher without errors in prime95 and lowering the multiplier just messes with my RAM. I'm miffed.

That made no sense. Mine runs at around 3ghz anyway last time i checked

Mines running at 2.24 right now, I'm only running two case fans for cooling, so I shouldn't go any higher.

no, I'm not entirely sure what that is, but I haven't had a single problem with it yet, running perfectly stable, AMD ALL THE WAY!!
p.s. there was some guy running a Intel exreme edition at 7 GHz!!! he was using liquid nitrogen cooling though.

prime95 is the best program for testing your system. Just google it and download it. If you can run the heat tests for 6 hours it's a pass, anything over 24 hours and it's superstable

Also, can i ask what your specs are? Like what voltage your running it at etc.

I'm not really sure, I had some friend of mine put it together, he oc'd my processor, but I did my GPU. If I remeber correctly its running stock.

I got an Athalon 2800+ that runs at 1.8 ghz. I have overclocked it to 2.0-2.1, but there's really no point that I see of doing it.

I finally found flange pedal which you control the rate with your foot. :) Costin me big bucks though :(
