I'm having trouble finding something I can listen to now. I don't want to overplay this album..but there's nothing else I can listen to that has the same feel. :(

I wasn't all that impressed with The Legacy at first but it's really grown on me, it's such a great song.

It's the biggest grower on the album.

Not for me, the very moment I heard it I was like..:eek:

It just has this so haunting sounding intro, and I really love that kinda' stuff.

i was instantly impressed i really love it from where the double up or whatever they do and go

"left to all our golden suns
all to pick up on the peace......etc"

a serious trouser changing moment

Can't wait to see most (if not all) of these songs live. I can only imagine them being even better than on the album, if tis possible.

So I never really listen to Maiden, I only own one album (Piece of Mind) which I dig upon occasion, but I downloaded the new album out of curiosity. I have to say it's been a really excellent listen, it's good that these guys can still make music of this calibre after so long in the business.

A 'kin Men

The new album is so good it's unbelievable.

Out Of The Shadows reminds me a lot of Tears Of The Dragon/Wasting Love.

I'm deadly impressed: no skip tracks either.

That's what I thought too. I was like..It sounds like Maiden meets Bruce's Solo stuff.

And there aren't any skip tracks.

I decided it's best if I stop listening to the album as much, so I don't overplay it. But I still couldn't change from Maiden.

Im really loving the whoa part in These Colours dont Run. It makes me want to sing along every time.

Actually, no.
Angel of Retribution had a few quality tracks on it, but it was nowhere near as good as Screaming for Vengance, Painkiller or British Steel.
A matter of life and Death is one of Maiden's best albums.

I still havent heard the new album :(:(:(

I got the new album, it's better than I expected.

I'd probably give the album a solid 4.5. Very good stuff but I wouldn't say it's their best (although it's [b]very[/b] high on the list.)
