Download comes first for me, as its only a short drive away. But then I will be keeping an eye out for the other line ups before throing my weight behind any.

But Sabbath I have to see, and Slayer I must redeeem for missing (stupid Taking Back Sunday:angry:)

Just hope the crowd will give the Friday bands a chance, as it seems to be the alt/indie day.

And it opens on a wednesday, more of a festival that way

I wanna go leads, ive been trying to sort it out, but yea.

the rumoured Reading line-up looks decent, they're not bands that i necesserily like, but they are much better than most.

Yeah, i love the foo's but the other 2 im kinda partial too.

Seriously, at the moment its almot neck and neck between which one i go to. A local cover band absolutely adore the Pixies and by covering half their stuff, it converted me into a fan. And maiden are always awesome live.


BUT


ITS OZZFEST ON SATURDAY! And Slayer, and Feeder, and to a lesser extent, SOAD.

Hmm, i might download trhere stuff later.

I may have to go for the whole weekend...screw getting a mini disc player/new amp/new bass, my b'day money is going onto my Download ticket.

Now I'm distracted and can't concentrate on doing my Physics coursework :(

haha, i might be going to leeds for free this year, but im not gonna tell you how, butler seems like he'd do anything to spend a weekend crying in the emo tent. (sorry butler, but you're just such an easy target, i promise ill stop the emo jokes)

I'm annoyed, I doubt I'd be allowed to go to Reading (even though I brought it up the other day as my mum was asking if there were any gigs I fancied going to post-exams) but it wasn't a definite "no" more of a "well not really" my mum actually said "I know you'd cope but I wouldn't" bloomin' protectiveness....it's not like there'd be any drugs, or nasty smelly boys, or rock bands or anything remotely alcoholic or aaaany loud music

I didnt see that !!

Id be watching punk/pop-punk im not into loads of Emo bands, just a few.

I may be going to download, the dudes i went with last year arent going this year for various rehab and monkey related reasons, so im gonna see if any dudes/duddettes on my course are going
