Against Miik! 01-12-2005 04:54 PM

I think nobody sounds like Freddy and they shouldn't have a reunion. It's like the Doors without Morrison, or (sorry) Nirvana without Cobain. Unless they are doing it for money, it's a bad idea.

thickasabrick 01-12-2005 05:04 PM

Are they still calling themselves Queen? Because if so, that's just wrong. They should change their name.

If they still want to tour together, they should form a new band and start a new fanbase. If people want to see them play, they can go, but some people will just go "to see Queen", they don't care about the actual musicians. It isn't the same without Freddy.

they should have come up with a new name, cause without freddy there is no queen. ill still try and get tickets though, cause john deacon and brian may kick ***.

Do any of you guys get Channel 1 at school?

jpj 01-12-2005 07:29 PM

Yea, we watch it every day in homeroom.

BludgeonySteve 01-12-2005 07:29 PM

Queen without Freddie is like a polar bear without its sword...

which is very wrong.

Did you hear them play The Rain Song yesterday?

jpj 01-12-2005 07:31 PM

I didn't know polar bears carried swords, unless by polar bears you mean power metal bands

I'd go see Queen without Freddie, it certainly wouldn't be as good, but I still think it'd be awesome.

I used to (man those "reporters" are fags, they make up the lamest jokes), but my grandpa decided that I needed a good "education" so my parents decided to send to private school as long as he pays tuition for me

They still have Brian May, but if he died, then it would be pointless to go

gmoneyguy 01-12-2005 07:39 PM

I was expecting Ashly Simpson or some song like that, which they play every other time.

Johnny B. Good 01-12-2005 08:12 PM

jpj 01-12-2005 08:13 PM

They also do Wooden Ships really well too

Woodstock 01-12-2005 08:32 PM

We got Channel 1 in Middle school, not anymore though. I did hear Kashmir played before though, and nobody knew what I was talking about. "I love Led Zeppelin, that guy is awesome!"

Johnny B. Good 01-12-2005 08:57 PM

Did George Harrison or Clapton do the solo on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"?
Did George Harrison or Clapton do the solo on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"?
clapton

Illmatic 01-12-2005 09:37 PM

Although one urban legend is that Harrison was so humbled by the acclaim for the solo that he credited Clapton, I think Clapton actually did it.

1. Freddie Mercury
2. Aretha Franklin
3. Paul Rodgers

Best singers of the 70's.
