http://soundcloud.com/carbonizedicon/fluctuant-gravity-re-recorded |
the vocals sound even worse now
|
I didn't do anything w/ the vocals
|
mastering affects the entire mix idiot
|
ooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhh
idk |
the master isn't too different
i basically re recorded some guitar parts with a different tone 4 guitar tracks with different panning and better fx chain is the main difference |
some shit i did fucking around with vocal ideas for my friends' band that i'm not gonna be in because they want deep vocals :(
https://www.box.com/s/5bf848635ca43756d883 never forget no regrets the clichés are overwhelming so misguided millions of drones in overwhelming proportions of shit bleh too many politicians and kissing circles fuck your soapbox step the fuck down the nuisance is too many clever fools too many idle minds just turning to shit dinosauric proportions of utter shit |
i thought you can do gutterals
|
because gutturals are the only type of deep vocals
and would totally fit a melodic hardcore band |
please explain to me these "deep vocals"
|
deeper shouted vocals idk, like tough guy shit
i think the most confusing thing about this conversation is probably your syntax |
tough guy, melodic hardcore, doesnt compute
|
because you don't listen to hardcore
|
"melodic" [music genre]
"post" [music genre] |
hardcore was fully infiltrated by hipsters in like 92
|
mocking accurate usage of adjectives

Here's a really obscure release, 2010's Pink Light, Yellow Heat
This EP is about 15 minutes long and contains some of Pink and Yellow's most unusual musical experimentation http://www.4shared.com/rar/txU79DUj/New_Folder.html |
Metal cover of Amy Macdonald's 'This is the Life':
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jx8UwYnooUQ |
I haven't heard the original so I can't judge compared to that, but as a stand alone you guys sound really good.
Are you the vocalist in this group? |
I really like Amy Macdonald even though that style isn't really up my alley usually. It's a kind of folky singer-songwriter kind of music.
But thanks! So far it's just me and my mate. I did the vocals for this. We're gonna record a short demo and then look for a full lineup, possibly with a dedicated singer. We're eventually gonna go for a sort of power metal kind of style, perhaps with growling vocals, but we just had to cover this song and make it really filthy. |

essentially an improv over a click track, Nima claims it has merit as an Awkward Pop Guitar Solo |
ok serous question who the fuck here can drop some wubs
timjim christsimpson frank eye i know one of you guys got some beats wheres the mx step |
Listened to that improv. I don't think I have what it takes to handle awkward pop, man.
New track, by the way: http://warpathtv.com/?p=2251 |
I've now got a few bands. A punk band, Eight Days From Sunday, which covers stuff from pop-punk to hardcore (and in terms of bands covered we've occasionally done Sepultura since I've joined on bass - I perform vocals when we do Slave New World). Also a metal band with pretty much the same lineup as EDFS except I do more vocals, the music is more straightforward metal and we have an extra guitarist, but as the guitarist has been AWOL for a while we haven't had much done. Lastly I've got a grindcore parody band called The Grand Alternative Choir which formed a couple of months ago over Facebook when me and two people from Skegness joked about forming a band to enter Britain's Got Talent 2013. We've released 3 tracks but I've had limited involvement due to prior commitments - I've programmed drums and written lyrics for 3 or 4 other songs but haven't got round to finishing them yet. Dunno if it's worth posting any here as the recording quality of TGAC in particular is pretty bad.
