She's got this one good song called Rumors.
That's about that inane rivalry between her and Hillary Duff, amirite?

Tyler 11-13-2006 05:17 PM

I'm not big on ABBA.

I do have several EUROPE cds though.

Riva 11-13-2006 05:20 PM

Well, that kind of makes up for it. Do you have The Bee Gees, or Earth, Wind & Fire?

Kage 11-13-2006 05:24 PM
That's about that inane rivalry between her and Hillary Duff, amirite?
Is it? All I know is that it's got an addictive beat and her voice is hawt.

Tyler 11-13-2006 05:24 PM

I have a few Earth Wind & Fire Vinyls, but nothing on my iTunes.

Tyr 11-13-2006 05:25 PM
Is it? All I know is that it's got an addictive beat and her voice is hawt.
You're trying to tell me that she can actually sing?

Tyler 11-13-2006 05:26 PM

And by voice, do you mean breasts?

Riva 11-13-2006 05:27 PM
@ Petey: That's good work of you. Al Di Meola's songs average about 6-8 minutes, I'd say.
Good man, Al's songs are so awesome that you don't even notice the time go by.

Such as listening to Animals on repeat multiple times during the day. :p

Kage 11-13-2006 05:27 PM
You're trying to tell me that she can actually sing?
I think so. I dig it.
And by voice, do you mean breasts?
Obviously. XD

pate 11-13-2006 05:27 PM

Riva 11-13-2006 05:31 PM

I think you guys are missing my point of my music library's path from first artist to ABBA. :p

Al is currently my favourite jazz guitarist. Incredible technique.
I think so. I dig it.
Who would have thought that she could sing? It's a strange world.

Eliminator 11-13-2006 05:31 PM

No ABBA?

homo

Which albums do you have of his?

Tyr 11-13-2006 05:34 PM
Which albums do you have of his?
Almost all of them. I think I have about 20 or so.

Riva 11-13-2006 05:36 PM

Excellent. I only have 5, but I'm slowly obtaining more.

Tyr 11-13-2006 05:37 PM

You can't have too many Al Di Meola albums, is my motto.

Kage 11-13-2006 05:39 PM

I've heard some acoustic work of his that is STUNNING. But I've also heard some unbearable wank, especially when teamed up with John McLaughlin.

Tyr 11-13-2006 05:42 PM
I've heard some acoustic work of his that is STUNNING. But I've also heard some unbearable wank, especially when teamed up with John McLaughlin.
I like both his technical and acoustic stuff. It's just a matter of which mood I'm in at the moment.

Kage 11-13-2006 05:44 PM

I think people like John McLaughlin and Al DiMeloa need to be put in situations where they can't do whatever they want and they have to have something to adapt to. For example, I adore McLaughlin's work with Shakti and especially Miles Davis, even Mahavishnu, but when you put him into a guitar-fest, it's just awufl. In my opinion, at least.

McLaughlin's stuff with Shakti is the best he's ever done, I think. Both he and Di Meola can lose a bit of focus if they play live and go into a solo that takes up half a song.

Eliminator 11-13-2006 05:53 PM

shakti \m/

i only have two songs :(

Tyr 11-13-2006 05:55 PM

I've got their Natural Elements album. Really good stuff.

Stormrider 11-13-2006 06:14 PM

I borrowed this ABBA album from my parents CD's....though I havn't listened to it yet. It's still on my desk.

I don't know all the songs on the album.

Apocalypticon 11-13-2006 08:23 PM

ABBA suck, end of story.

Txus 11-13-2006 08:25 PM

Stoic is going to kill you.

Apocalypticon 11-13-2006 08:30 PM

Probably, but atleast it will only be via interwebz.

blue3 11-13-2006 10:58 PM
