yeah i have seen that shirt where vic is crawling out of a grave that is pretty sick i thought.
|
I dont know if anyone has asked this before but what got you into Megadeth ?
For me it must have been listening ton The Conjuring at full volume (try it out) By the way does anyone know if the current line-up is temporary, no offence to the band but if Friedman and Menza came back we could expect some serious ****. |
Probably my bass teacher teaching me the "Peace Sells" riff.
|
i think that phrase in IMDH has to do with his work he put in on his relationship with the girl he wrote the song about, and how now the relationship is over.
found a baddbooty 'mary jane' t shirt on ebay last night. would fit me too, think i might own it.
Actually, IMDH was about the death of Cliff Burton |

Marty's out in Japan, so I doubt that he would come back either. It's probably best that Marty doesn't come back into Megadeth, as he's into the J-pop scene now. Ha, I have the Conjuring live on my Hangar 18 7" Vinyl, it's a classic. Hmmm, thing that got me into Megadeth was listening to Youthanasia on tape, which I stole from my stepdad. |

At first I was just a casual fan liking songs such as Symphony, Sweating, Trust.....but then I heard Dread and The Fugitive Mind, when I heard that double bass part for the first time it all started.....then watching Behind The Music put me right into them....

I found out about Megadeth because it was Dave Mustaine's band, and I knew a little about Dave from his time in Metallica. I just thought, hey, he was in Metallica so lets see what Megadeth is like and I went and bought SFSGSW. Never looked back.

Ha, I have the Conjuring live on my Hangar 18 7" Vinyl, it's a classic.
ive got that to, i bought it unused in an old rcord shop here in sweden. Man if only Megadeth were back to playing big arenas (when i saw them in Stockholm there were only about 800 people there and even i was right next to the stage it could have been more people there). |
Only 800 people? That must suck for Dave.
|
used to like megadeth when i heard peace sells...
but then i bought rust in peace! now i love megadeth, that album is their best imo, it features friedman's best playing with megadeth |
Yep, RIP>Everything
|
Go vote Marty, Chuck has no chance.

That's how much it is here in Toronto too. I don't want Megadeth to play in arena's. Chances are I'll get a seat far back, and even if I get close, getting out/home is a bitch, and moshing isn't as good in an arena, I think. |
I live in arizona so all we have is an arena and on megadeth shows it is packed and huge mosh pits
|
I went to arizoina this summer and played a few gigs and it was awsome. The parties were really great too and I hardly saw any cops which made the trip even more awsome!

Relation to Megadeth? |
Relation to Megadeth?
naw...I just mean that you can get into some crazy metal stuff down in arizona. I didnt go for megadeth...me and my band were playing down there and it was ****ing awsome. We did cover mechanix the 81 way though, so it was sortta like something to do with megadeth |

The one in Rude Awakening? |
I didn't like Rude Awakening that much, i thought Dave's vocals sucked, and didn't like the overall sound of it.
PS: Nice user title Mathias \m/ |
I loved it, but meh, my opinion. They were better when I saw them live.
Everyone go vote Marty in the Guitarists thread, Chuck has no chance now but its Marty vs. SRV. |
I already voted for chuck.
|
megadeth were amazing in the small place I went to see them in Glasgow, the atmosphere was brilliant...
|
Ok everything is working out, i'm getting the ID of someone who looks like me, to get into the gig.
Seeing them on saturday. |
The one in Rude Awakening?
Don't rise to him, it's obvioulsy a gimmick account so just ignore him. |
I actually stood right to the fence about a metre from stage. I just feel that Dave could use a little more support though. thats why there could have been more people there.
The best moment for me at the concert was when Mustaine took his solos from Wake up dead right in front of me. What was your best moment at any Megadeth concert? or your worst? |
No 'Deth concerts...yet.

If you're trying to start shit, it's not gonna happen. |

If by metallica you mean I then you're still an idiot :thumb:
If you're trying to start ****, it's not gonna happen.
Yeah, you'd have to go to the Tallica thread and talk about Deth to cause trouble if that's what you're after. Best concert experience... I think just singing along to Peace Sells with everyone else, just one of those metal moments. Worst is either leaving or having the guy next to me puff smoke in my face every 10 seconds. |

Yes, I loved singing along with Peace Sells. The worst part for me was getting elbowed in the back 10 million times by this short guy be hind me, or when I left the mosh pit and was near passing out. |

I was winded in the mosh to Holy Wars, and I got so dehydrated I thought I was gonna throw up. Still, it was the night of my life. |
