Anyine heard any "Halloween, Alaska"?? They're a very good indie group, with Dave King running the drums (he plays with The Bad Plus, Happy Apple, Siamese Fighting Fish, and F*k*G). Apparently they had a couple songs on the O.C (I don't watch the show), so I guess some people may of heard it there.

I haven't, but I might go see the Bad Plus soon. They're playing a show right down the street from me, and it's very rare to have a good all-ages show where I live.

i'm debating whether prescription medication (obv. painkillers) is inappropriate subject matter for a drawing for art class. i could email the teacher but i kind of just want to do it.

I'm almost posyive it wouldn't be. A huge pot leaf next to a firing gun maybe not, but prescription medicine seems like it wouldn't be inappropriate.

I gotta go with Eliminator on this one. Isn't this a place where alt/indie forum members just chat it up about whatever? I mean, we shouldn't be saying messages that only say "lol", or "ok." But I think we should have the right to be kind of random.

yes that's correct. but not only are ONE word replies bad, but sometimes you can have three or four words and still be spam. takes a keen eye to find these things but i dont delete posts often :-]
