Your intense hatred for all things good and pleasant in the world has obviously obscured your tastebuds. But can we agree that Kingdom Come is overwhelming on the whole, though? I'm a bringerer togetherer not a dividerer aparter.

BillCosby 11-21-2006 07:21 PM

I'm assuming you meant underwhelming. So, yes.
for now

ATM 11-21-2006 09:01 PM

Kingdom Come is getting absolutely slagged in the reviews.

Kaden 11-21-2006 10:51 PM

Listen, just one man's opinion, but I like Kingdom Come. Not his best, but better than The Black Album (which I never got into as much as most people)

ATM 11-21-2006 10:56 PM

Jay Z got progressively worse. It's all about Reasonable Doubt.

BillCosby 11-22-2006 12:45 AM

eh, but who hasn't

and please don't list people who haven't

Freudian slip, I really love the album and can't cope with the fact that I do.

True, it's just a shame.

Anyway, Electric Circus by Common is really good.

Apocalyptic Raids 11-22-2006 04:19 AM

I gave a quick listen to Hell Hath No Fury. It seems great so far, but I'm yet to give it a good listen.

ATM 11-22-2006 10:05 AM

Yea, I haven't really sat down with it properly yet. I like what I've heard.

The Blueprint was nice though, it's pretty much on par with his debut for me. Haven't heard the new album yet in full, but I like what I've heard from it. I've been hearing a lot of mixed reviews...

raus 11-23-2006 02:28 AM

Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint are both classics. Kingdom Come is good. stop hating.

Hell Hath No Fury is the rap album of the year, and it's got two of my top 3 rap tracks of the year.

sgrevs 11-23-2006 06:03 AM

I want to hear it, but I haven't had time to find it nor listen, so maybe on the weekend.

ATM 11-23-2006 10:47 AM

Any People Under the Stairs fans?
Any People Under the Stairs fans?
Hell yeah ! O.S.T. is one of my favourite albums.
I've been listening to Deep Puddle Dynamics, Glue, Saul Williams and KMD a lot just lately . . . all good. :thumb:

Iai 11-23-2006 12:23 PM

Reasonable Doubt is the worst Jay-Z album I've heard, to be honest. And the single from Kingdom Come isn't great.

raus 11-23-2006 05:11 PM
Reasonable Doubt is the worst Jay-Z album I've heard, to be honest. And the single from Kingdom Come isn't great.
Idiot.
Idiot.
Your disregard for OPINION is kind of unreasonable.

raus 11-23-2006 08:21 PM

He didn't say "in my opinion", he said that it's the worst as a fact.

Kaden 11-23-2006 08:24 PM
He didn't say "in my opinion", he said that it's the worst as a fact.
Saying that an album is better than another is always opinion, there's no basis for fact. You knew he meant "It's my least favorite" and it's unreasonable to insult him for that.

raus 11-23-2006 08:36 PM

It's interesting that you know what's inside both of our heads. When did you realize you had such an amazing gift?

raus 11-23-2006 08:42 PM

I don't know he's not a dumbass.

I do know that you need to unban me on Sputnik, cause my ban is about a month over how long it's supposed to be.
It's interesting that you know what's inside both of our heads. When did you realize you had such an amazing gift?
If you have any intellgence at all, you know what he meant, because everyone but you seems to realize that there's little objective criteria for which albums are good and which aren't, and that people have the right to think whatever they want of any artist and it's just as valid as your opinion.

raus 11-23-2006 09:07 PM

I knew it was his opinion, I don't like when people phrase shit like that. Which is funny because that's what I do. Doesn't matter though, I fucking rule and his opinion is fucking stupid.

sgrevs 11-24-2006 12:57 AM

lolz at the antics on page 100. (w00t we made 100. well done R/HH thread!)
Any People Under the Stairs fans?
Yeah man, I have Question In The Form of an Answer and Stepfather, they both rule.

So Dr Octagon is playing my union next month, should I go?

sgrevs 11-24-2006 07:26 PM

Hell yeah! As if you would contemplate not going. I'm sure he'd put on a briliant show.

Apocalyptic Raids 11-25-2006 01:03 AM

After giving Hell Hath No Fury a proper listen I have come to the conclusion that it is indeed fucking great.
