Got Radiohead tickets.

: D
Gaahhh, I tried so hard to do that, and failed so miserably.

Zmev 05-14-2006 11:33 AM

All it takes is having one mozilla window open but two tabs. Ticketmaster (with you already signed in) and an atomic clock. The clock tells you when to start refreshing. Theres not a lot of time to waste so once youre in, you have to quickly tell them how many tickets you want (theyll prob only allow 2) and for best seats available. The word to write in is difficult however, as you have to speed through and if you mispell it (sometimes you cant even see it) you're done.

I got it right though, pretty easy word.

They found the guitar. It's in working order. Their children will live to see another day.

One of my best friends confessed he had a crush on me yesterday while we were both quite sauced. I feel weird.

Same here. It wasn't fun.

Luxor 05-14-2006 05:07 PM

I have a friend who says that kind of stuff to me everytime she gets drunk.

I kind of have a girlfriend of 2 years though, so that creates somewhat of a problem.

Happymeal 05-14-2006 05:17 PM

And I bet you enjoy every bit of that, you pimp.

Happymeal 05-14-2006 05:25 PM

Straight up on that kryptonite.

I don't think it was too awkward. But, alas, I ended up kissing him
I had a missed call from him earlier while he was on a break at work and he said he would call me back later, so I think things will end up getting quite awkward.

I have the movie Manhattan, but I havent had time to watch it yet. I watched Midnight Cowboy yesterday, it was alright.
Straight up on that kryptonite.

I don't think it was too awkward.
The thing is, for her it wasn't awkward. We talked about it, and we're on good terms. But I'm a total nervous wreck, so whenever I talk to her I start stuttering and whatnot.
I tell you bastards what, Match Point is an awesome film. Woody is the man.
Woody Allen is cool. I need to see more stuff by him, because Annie Hall is the best damn chick flick ever.
Igziabeher!
That sounds German. Confirm/deny.

In other news, in the pit they're talking about how someone raped a baby. Wacky.

You need to make time, that is an excellent film.

EMH, you should check that one out too.

I liked it.
I didn't loveeee it, but it was pretty damn good.

br3ad_man 05-15-2006 04:44 AM

Hooray, a page of people talking about how awesome Woody Allen is! Everyone should see Interiors (a completely serious Woody film) and Hannah and Her Sisters (possibly his best Mia Farrow era comedy)! Match Point owns so hard. Only a few months until Scoop! comes out too.

So I got my Splendour in the Grass ticket tonight. I'm very pleased. Did you get one Little Man?

I've done my homework, so I'm going to watch a movie now. Awesome.

I Was A Kaleidoscope 05-15-2006 08:14 AM

I have a lot of movies I really need to see still.
I've been slowly seeing the ones I've wanted to see for a long time.

I still need to see the whole of Fight Club, Coffee & Cigarettes, Memento, Mulholland Dr., Requiem For A Dream, M, etc.

ATM 05-15-2006 09:58 AM

I finally saw Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels the other night.

Kyle 05-15-2006 12:08 PM

I'm seeing Yeah Yeah Yeahs tomorrow, should be pretty fun.

/awaits abuse.

Truth.

I think my pc has a virus so I'm currently trying to erase the hell out of it. I hate stupid spyware programs that let you scan your pc for free but then make you pay to get rid of them. They make you shit yourself and then charge you money. I'm trying to use a free one but my Windows Defender or whatever the hell it is is still going mental even though I've deleted a ton of spyware.

Sure did little buddy. Looks like me and some friends are gonna be making a mammoth road trip to get there. 14 hours.

They're heaps of fun live.

Interstate 05-15-2006 02:49 PM

I got bored and decided to bag up loads of loose change I've collected in a jar over the course of like 6 months-a year or so. I ended up with about £10 ($20)

One of my friends did that a little while ago and ended up with about $400.

Kyle 05-15-2006 03:00 PM
They're heaps of fun live.
Awesome, I've never seen them. I'm gonna be seeing them at Reading Festival in August aswell, so I hope you're right.
That sounds German. Confirm/deny.
Amharic. It's the major language of Ethiopia, and thus important to Rastas. "Igziabeher" means "let God be praised." I recommend the Peter Tosh song of the same name.

NOTE: I do not, in any way, consider myself a Rastafarian. I am interested in its precepts because of its similarities to Judaism, and because I am a fanatical devotee of reggae music.

And because I smoke mad weed.

If you want to see M, archive.org have it up for download as it's now public domain.

Holy ****. Are you camping?

Man, I'm really sick at the moment but I still have to go to school. If I miss anything this week, I'm screwed. It sucks x12.

and i'm getting a little tired of Tarantino. i'll always enjoy Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill but you can only watch them so often. i'm sick of everything else from him

Well, we didn't try to get camping tickets, but we still have to figure out where we're gonna stay. Who knows? We'll probably end up sleeping in the car or something.

I think Tarantino is a good director, but he is reaaaaally full of himself. All the campy little pop culture references in his movies just seem to scream "Look at me, aren't I clever?"

But I'll always have a place in my heart for Pulp Fiction. That movie is just plain awesome.

Kurtz 05-15-2006 06:01 PM

seriously

not to mention he doesn't have any emotion, ever

don't get me wrong, pulp fiction is awesome for what it is, but i would probably take the pianist or forrest gump over it

Little Man being Erased 05-15-2006 06:18 PM

I saw Reservoir Dogs for the first time recently, and to be honest, I didn't see what the big deal was. Everyone seems to wank over it, but I thought it was pretty lame.

Pulp Fiction is great though.

Plus, the fact that Tarantino wrote (?) and directed an episode of CSI takes him down a peg or two in my book.

Kurtz 05-15-2006 06:33 PM

i have a poster of Reservoir Dogs in my room, just because it looks cool

but i have a post of the godfather that looks even better

CSI is great though, at least the original

Yea, I thought it was great.

I decided I need to see more movies, so any suggestions you have, throw them my way.

Seriously, I only ever watch stupid comedies, so suggest anything. Anyone.

The Great Decay 05-15-2006 07:52 PM

I recently watched the movie "The Chumscrubber" and thought it was quite good.
