Look back over last night's posting.
Jeez, apparently a little tiff over last.fm stats can't be simply taken for what it is these days.

All things considered, Ray's response to it was pretty amusing.

Why the sad face? I don't think it's a big deal that you're carrying on a long-distance relationship.

Hmm I hit one o my friends in the nads earlier because he put my keys down his trousers. I don't think he likes me anymore.

You better hope she is willing to make the journey so you can celebrate the Holiday.

It's not a big deal, it just really sucks never being able to see her in person.

Josh 03-14-2006 04:22 PM

i tried a long-distance relationship, it didnt work. but then i didn't see her in over 2 months, so it never really got past the "seeing each other" stage to the "going out" stage. my current g/f lives 12 miles away and goes to a different school, but being able to drive makes it all good :).

anyhow, i'm out. later

Dude, you can do anything you want to another guy's nads but hit them.

Although that is pretty gross.

What went wrong? Ya I got plenty of stuff...I sold a bunch of greatest hits cds of bands I had most of the Discography for, some cds I dont listen to etc. I bought David Gilmour "On an Island", Frank Zappa "Apostrophe' " a limited edition from Japan. A Queen and Johhny Cash poster (different).

A girl in one of my classes at school just got hit by a car. She received serious injury.

Lord Abortion 03-14-2006 04:54 PM

I just got On an Island, and I think it's very good.
Guitar work is, as expected, exemplary.

Hopefully nothing a swiftly Delivered Beatdown can't fix.

Ya, it was weird, like I didnt register that she could be really really badly hurt...It is gonna be weird tomorrow, but I love On an Island.

Shred Danson 03-14-2006 05:18 PM

Great Holy Good God, my girlfriend is watching "The Breakfast Club" (which explains why I am online) and reciting it word-for-word. Wow. She's making me scratch my head because she's saying random crap, then I realize "oh, she's quoting the movie".

Example:

Nichole: Do you suffer the beef injection?
Me: ...a-what?
Nichole: Do you suffer the beef injection.
Me: Oh I thought you were talking to me saying all this weird shit.
Nichole: No, I'm quoting the movie, baby!
Me: *blank stare*
Nichole

Hey dudes, check this song out: it's "Going Down" by the Jeff Beck Group as performed by my college blues ensemble. I'm the guitar that's most audible, in the right channel I believe, and my guitar solo is third overall and the second guitar solo. I messed up a bit by playing a really bad-sounding high-register version of the main riff in an attempt to add intensity to the end of the piano player's solo and lead into mine, but a.) she wasn't quite done with her solo and b.) it was just a bad idea. Oh well. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Its ok. Then again I saw the censored version in school for some reason.

How is every one's day?

I have strep (spelling?) throught so I have been sleeping the past few days. Being sick is pretty boring. I dont have the strength to pick up the guitar or the desire to turn on the Xbox. I have spent the past few days watching re-runs of the Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Seinfeld and the Simpsons while coughing my brains out.

Stormrider 03-14-2006 05:38 PM

I hate coughing :(

The most anoying sickness is probably conjested nose for me though.

Some of the words they chose to use to replace the swear words are pretty funny.

Once when I was in Florida, I saw a showing of the Adam Sandler and Damon Wayans film Bulletproof at something like 7 in the evening. This is not the most family-friendly of films. The sheer variety of dubbed words/noises was great.

Similarly, later in the same trip, I saw a midnight showing of Independence Day. "Assholes" was censored.

Well, thanks. I am though. It's not so much that I'm bad at constructing arguments to put in essays and whatever, I'm just really bad at concentrating long enough to follow a train of thought through properly.

There are some other ones like that which make no sense at all. I think it enhances the movie.
