Best...thread...ever

I got banned for posting a link to pr0n. I had only been here a few days and didn't know it was against the rules :/

Ah well, maybe someday that account will get unbanned.
I got banned once for making a vs. thread. That was stupid, I know

Dark_Horse_335 07-08-2005 11:28 AM
You really need to relax. Just because you got banned for a week doesn't mean you should get your panties in a twist.
You can't get banned for a week for one spam post, it's just not right.

MBS 07-08-2005 11:28 AM
He (MYR/Mister Blue Sky) lives in California. It's 1:22 PM here (Eastern US), so I just ate some Cornflakes for breakfast/lunch.

That reminds me Malcom, what are using that account now?
I dunno, it's been a year, time for some change I guess.

What are the dimensions for an avatar and the max size?

lunch998 07-08-2005 11:30 AM

Yea, I'll probably start posting more on Lunch in a couple days.

It really isn't a big deal.

Lunch: Why did you use numbers in your user name anyway?

Max size for an avatar is 70 X 70 I think.

70 by 70 and I'll check on the other one.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 70 by 70 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

MBS 07-08-2005 11:34 AM

Okay, so far I have this one...

I'm working on an animated one right now.

Lunch: Why did you use numbers in your user name anyway?
This is my AIM name (because on AIM Lunch was taken), so when I signed up I just decided to use the same name.

When I think back and consider the alternatives, I'm glad I used the AIM name. Otherwise I would have pulled a JPJ (JPJrulestheworld) and have Ledzeppelinrox or something like that.
This is my AIM name (because on AIM Lunch was taken), so when I signed up I just decided to use the same name.
I hate when I sign up for crap and every name I can think of is allready in use.

ATM 07-08-2005 11:37 AM

I usually use KarmaPolice when I sign up for things. That account was the one that got banned, though.

MBS 07-08-2005 11:47 AM

Crap, ignore that link...

That's enough for today. Photoshop's pissing me off.

Illmatic 07-08-2005 01:05 PM

I like Jelle, Bartender, and Numbers (of the mods I've encountered enough to form an opinion of). I really hate Non Sequitur. His thread in P&WI is actually even dumber than I thought. "Well, my great-grandparents many many years ago didn't turn to crime, so blacks in 2005 who live in Harlem shouldn't turn to crime either". Yes, that makes tons of sense. There's no doubt he's a hardcore Christian; he lives in a fantasy world where he thinks a bunch of good ideas in paper actually apply to the real world.

I haven't been banned yet, but given Non Sequitur's nature, I wouldn't be surprised if I was banned for one of my posts in his thread (which are relatively tame, but this is Non Sequitur we're talking about). Bah.

Well, nothing going on on this end. I'm going to be here alone for a whle.

I don't get the comparison between white immigrants and black slaves. He seems to think they're some how related, or believes that the majority of black people actually immigrated over here.

<3

That is seriously awesome man. I love that slogan.

Illmatic 07-08-2005 01:08 PM

Moreover, he believes the actions of poor white immigrants in the early 20th century should dictate the actions of poor blacks in the early 21st century, even though there is a different context.

Otherside 07-08-2005 01:11 PM

It's as if he thinks that society has not changed since those times, and that underclass black society should be able to "take charge of the american spirit and work they're way up through the beautiful capitalist system of this coutnry" or something, and that "as long as you work hard, you'll get there". He seriously needs to actually go to these places and see how horribly wrong he is.

ATM 07-08-2005 01:14 PM

I bet he lives in a big house in the suburbs.

Which makes me believe he is an upper-middle class Republican.

Yeah, I banned you for a day for the double-post. Sorry. But I don't want to except people, because then the people I've already banned for such things would (rightly) get angry.
I bet that's it, anyway. I can't even figure out where me and Steerpike double posted but we were banned anyway.
I linked you to yours, when you said you couldn't find it. An attempt to make sure you didn't feel hard done by.

Joe - your ban has just over four days left.

As for all the mod talk, zero's never really had a chance to piss me off, though that Rap thread of his is pretty stupid. The only thing he's ever done/expressed that's gotten me annoyed is his opinion of homosexuals/-ity. And I like DFelon.

EDIT: not to say he's the only mod I like, or that's the sum of my opinions. I just remember they were mentioned.
