Deth 08-08-2008 12:45 PM

Battle of Mice/Jesu split is awesome so far :)

Txus 08-08-2008 12:46 PM

Haven't heard. I don't like Battle of Mice.....how's Jesu's side?

Mind sending it to me :)

txus.mx@gmail.com

the2stranger 08-08-2008 12:46 PM

When was it released/leaked?

Thor 08-08-2008 12:48 PM

Making boring things awesome for the win.

Plus watching The Wall movie was one of the better things i've done this summer. :)

Deth 08-08-2008 12:49 PM

That movie rules.
When was it released/leaked?
Dunno, found it today though.

Yeah, I'll up it for ya Mike. Any preference for the site?

Thor 08-08-2008 12:50 PM

Yeah it doesn't help that it's my favorite album ever.

I watched it high the day after getting out of a 1.5 year relationship. It was some heavy ****.

Txus 08-08-2008 12:51 PM

Rapidshare plz :)

thanks, man!

Hmmm, Pink floyd...haven't heard any PF in ages!

Thor 08-08-2008 12:52 PM

Roger Waters is still one of my all time favorite songwriters

RiceMonster 08-08-2008 12:54 PM

Watching The Wall stoned... Now that's something I've never though of.

Deth 08-08-2008 12:55 PM

ugh, my upload speed sucks. I found it post-engineering.blogspot.com, so that might be quicker.

Txus 08-08-2008 12:56 PM

Oh, k. I will loook for it then! :D

the jesu/envy split is godly.

Deth 08-08-2008 12:57 PM

I like the Jesu side, but I don't really like Envy. Well, that's all I've heard of them so maybe they're better.

Txus 08-08-2008 12:59 PM

Yup, the envy side is really weird compared to their other stuff. Get A Dead Sinking Story, magnificent album.

the2stranger 08-08-2008 01:00 PM

I'm ordering some books and DVDs now.
Teh cooliez.
It's been ages since I last ordered stuff.

Txus 08-08-2008 01:01 PM

Which ones? It's been ages since I've read a book outside of the ones I HAVE to read at uni.

the2stranger 08-08-2008 01:05 PM

books:
Thomas More - Utopia
Robert M. Pirsig - Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
The Bhagavad-Gita

DVDs:
Daywatch.
and maybe some others.

Thor 08-08-2008 01:06 PM

How's Wreath treatin' you bro? :thumb:

the2stranger 08-08-2008 01:07 PM

Awesome, as was to be expected. :D
I'm now at the awesome, but somewhat unusual solo.
\m/

Thor 08-08-2008 01:07 PM

It's probably Lindgren, he did lots of really strange leads on that album.

the2stranger 08-08-2008 01:09 PM

The beginning of that solo is so weird, with these heavy metal/bluesy like notes.

I love the last part of the growling where Mike has growling and screeching mixed together.

Thor 08-08-2008 01:11 PM

Even though that song is pretty great it's probably my least favorite on the album.

The opening riff/groove part in By The Pain I See In Others = so much win

the2stranger 08-08-2008 01:13 PM

I love the freaky piano part.
Steven Wilson was such an awesome producer, I wish he'd do another album for them.

Interesting book.

I want to read William Gibson's "Neuromancer", I'll probably start later today since I have nothing else to do.
Interesting book.

Yeah, I try to keep my reading diverse.
Even though I'm reading way too little at this moment.

/Checks out your book.

Txus 08-08-2008 01:29 PM

It's the first book of this kind I read, I hope it's good.

Permanent Solution 08-08-2008 01:31 PM

Has anyone else ITT read any Victor Hugo?

the2stranger 08-08-2008 01:32 PM

Nope.
Have you?

Permanent Solution 08-08-2008 01:33 PM

Yeah I read Les Miserables and I'm over halfway through Hunchback of Notre Dame. I really enjoy his stuff but everyone gives me weird looks when I say it's good =\

Txus 08-08-2008 01:35 PM

Les Miserables is a very good book. I want to read Torquemada.

Do you read anything in spanish, vince?

the2stranger 08-08-2008 01:35 PM

I still want to read some of his work.
But there are too many I still want to read.
So I just add him to my list. :p

RiceMonster 08-08-2008 01:43 PM

Pffft, reading.

Txus 08-08-2008 01:44 PM

I like Anime too from time to time :)

Aakon_Keetreh 08-08-2008 02:11 PM

i need to read more

adb 08-08-2008 02:13 PM

I usually don't read anything longer than a few paragraphs, even studying for tests I just skim.

Tyler 08-08-2008 02:55 PM

I've never studied for a test in my life.

So I just got back from the liquor store. It's the "international beer expo", so there's way more imported beer and it's dirt cheap. Bought a bunch of stuff, most of it unpronounceable, and then I get home and find out that she charged me for a case of this Chinese beer when I only bought one. So I just paid like 10 dollars for a 2 dollar beer.

Thor 08-08-2008 03:00 PM
i need to read more
get a job at a pool, that's how i started reading haha

I read a lot of Max Brooks this summer. Dude is hilarious.

Tyler 08-08-2008 03:02 PM

I've been reading lots of comics this summer. Only read three or four books sadly.
