I just noticed that the song 'Blame It on the Tetons' by Modest Mouse sounds exactly like Unwind by Sonic Youth.

I've been supposed to work on a literary analysis on American short stories (1900th, early 2000th century period) for English class for the last couple of weeks or so, but I have yet to even pick a subject even though it's due on friday. The task is to find and compare a similar aspect of two of the short stories we've read, but I can't think of anything good at all. Why couldn't all those old crazy writers just agree on one subject to write about it and then stick to it? Freakin' creativity.

I went for a walk to the shops to check my work roster and stopped past the cd store. There were second hand cds by The Flaming Lips (the new one) and The Ponys (Celebration Castle) that I couldn't buy because I need to pay for Splendour In The Grass. It would be bitchin' if they're still there next week.

Yeah, I've pretty much decided I'm gonna go to Splendour. Should be pretty good.

Definitely go see 'em. He plays guitar, but there are two dudes playing guitar in the band these days. He'll be the one with light-ish brown hair and the bigger beard of the two.
