I got to buy a cheap estate car to transport all mine & my friends stuff when I go to Reading festival in August, cos there's no way we're getting two tents, 4 people, cooking equipment & other stuff in a classic Mini Cooper.

One of these is looking perfect for the job right now. Huge boot, plenty of room, not to bad on petrol & generally bulletproof:

Why don't you get a bus? I love the bus on the way to festivals, always a great atmosphere and lots of fun, last one I went to me n my friends met a great group of people we ended up camping next to and hanging out with all weekend.

Suppose it depends how near you are to the festival. That car looks good for storage though, yeah.
