Yeah, the new Pestilence album wasn't that impressive. Then again it wasn't as bad as some of the reactions I've seen might imply. I've only given it one spin so far though, so we'll see...

I'm listening to it now. Over half way through.

It's alright, but I was never a big fan of Testimony either.

The remake of Out of the Body sucks. They totally left out one of the coolest riffs in it.

I'm in the opinion that it's the best song they've done aside from the new song they were playing over the Summer (the really Cannibal Corpse-y sounding one), The Burning, and Kiss The Snake.

Only one breakdown too, definite improvement imho.

Regardless, the other new song that I've heard is ****ing ridiculous, I have a feeling the Salarian Gate is gonna be the best album of '09, or at least my favorite.

And Dayton is a ****ing incredible drummer, and Damon's vocals are mad unique.

It was more of an overstated opinion tbh, but they're definitely my favorite metal band (and have been since TTEOTD went to **** and they started).
