Wrap rope around your neck and pull.

Chu 08-15-2005 12:26 AM

It's all good, he got what he deserved :)

Huber 08-15-2005 12:28 AM

Oh, I didn't notice he was banned.

Chu 08-15-2005 12:30 AM

Just happened as you made your post :)

In the future, if someone posts something like that, without at least giving reasons for their opinion, just report it, there's no need to retaliate to them.

IF playing guitar try the kill em all selection. All are good, but start with no remorse. By the time you get it right you will feel invinsible. TURN IT UP AND PISS THE NEIGHBOUS OFF

lightningmetal666 08-15-2005 07:09 AM

I take it a little kid got on his mom's computer and was causing problems.

This might piss some people off, but try learning Hero of The Day or
Devils Dance. Just because Load and Reload overall sucked, doesn't mean they don't have some good songs. For whatever reason I kinda dug Hero of the day. I was listening to my S&M Cd and was digging it. Crap, maybe I'm getting soft.

flammen 08-15-2005 07:27 AM

in my opinion reload was gr8 but then i hant herd much of the old stuff which i can compare it 2. then agen we all like different stuff n i respect that people like ova fings. ma dad has a lot but on vinyl so i cant listen to it all that easily.

im not a fan of hero of the day but i love devils dance n im gonna start to learn carpe diem baby drums.

i can play frantic, st anger and some others because of playing along the music. :thumb: :p

Apocalyptic Raids 08-15-2005 10:51 AM

Nothing Else Matters depends on how proficient your finger picking is.

If you like Reload start working your way back or you might not like the old stuff. Get the Black Album (you've probably heard Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters) then I'd say skip over AJFA and try Ride the Lightning. Then get ...And Justice for All, then Master of Puppets, then Kill 'Em All.

I don't try to play the album rhythm. I play live rhythm which is...

E--------3---------2-----3------------------
B------0---0-------3-----3------------------
G----0-------0-----2-----0-----------repeat several times
D------------------0-----2------------------
A------------------------3------------------
E-0---------------(rp)---(rp)----3-2----------

(rp) - random picking.

It's alright, he got banned already.

learn some of the old stuff. black album stuff is fairly easy after practice

Apocalyptic Raids 08-15-2005 10:59 AM

Seek & Destroy is a nice easy one.

Joe 08-15-2005 11:14 AM
Seek & Destroy is a nice easy one.
Yes it is. I just found out the other day I was playing the intro riff wrong and now that I play it right it sounds so much better. The rest of the song is fairly easy. As with Four Horsemen. I can't do the first solo, but the rhythm is easy.

Jev 08-15-2005 12:09 PM

The first solo is played on two guitars isn't it?

RustedPieces 08-15-2005 12:11 PM

Yeah it is.

Its so much easier to do that, and I think it sounds better because its alot clearer.

Joe 08-15-2005 12:26 PM
The first solo is played on two guitars isn't it?
I used to think it was just delay for the first part that's two guitars, but yes it is.

and to father_jack, yea it's a lot easier to play it that way. It sounds just as good and it fits everything else

Yeah i've always preferred it over the rhythm on the album.

i loved it but onlyu listen to it when in angry or feeling aggresive

hedgefudge420 08-15-2005 01:04 PM

I saw Metallica live a couple months ago. They kicked ***! It was at the New Orleans arena...they are one of the only large bands to come here in.....forever! The pyrotechnics were cool and the stage looking like it was falling apart at the end was awesome.....and the music kicked ***....the place was sold out.....i think

Jev 08-15-2005 01:15 PM

The pyro at Met shows is insane. I was about 100ft from the stage and i still felt the heat.

I was well pissed when they said they wern't touring the UK because they played download. One fuking gig in the whole of the UK. I couldn't afford download and i really wanted to see them. But anyway i have the download gig on mp3 and it wasnt that great, so im just gunna wait my turn and hope to see them on tour after this next album.

Father_Jack 08-15-2005 02:01 PM

Can someone upload Master of Puppets from the Live Shit album. Mines all fuzzy.

Schecterguitarist 08-15-2005 02:03 PM

The one AND ONLY thing that i dont like about metallica is that they take huge breaks after tours. I want them to get bak in the studio soon becuz itll be another f**kin three years til they put out an album (its due next summer). I look at these other bands and theyr goin with 1 album every year or even 10 or 11 months, but 3 years and metallica didnt go thru any horrible ordeals like in 2000, I just wanna hear some brand new metallica tunes rly rly bad

Yeh but they have been recording since the early eighties, but they get people hooked and take a break I think for two reasons

1. It's a good sales Idea, People would want more, therefore buying all the older albums

2. It must take a while to produce such great music

Also they did go through ordeals in 2000 because I heard that they had to hire a therapist to keep them from splitting up
