Not only did Barret era Floyd rule, but The Madcap Laughs by him is fucking great. Too bad he went totally insane afterwards.
Both of his solo albums are good. I like Barrett a lot. |

I don't really like Barrett that much but that may be only due to the fact that it can't compare to The Madcap Laughs. |

Well the members of the Soft Machine also played on the first album. I'm not sure if they did on the second one which could be the reason it might not be on the same playing field as the first album. By the way, the Soft Machine were one great band. Third is an album to defiantly own. |

They're a pretty wild 60's psych band with weird sounds poping out all over the place like on Piper at the Gates of Dawn but were only around long enough for one album. |

Last few days I've been enjoying Reflection Eternal alot. I didn't rate this as high as the BlackStar album or Black On Both Sides but now I do for sure. The album closer is amazing, a Nina Simone cover. Anyways, there is a question from this, which artists would you suggest I explore that are in the same style? I haven't really got into people like Aesop Rock or the Dangermouse colab in the past, so you can see what I haven't been digging.
