You can be angry and not be flat broke. I grew up poor but in the past few 5 years my parents have had money, I value all the stuff I get.

Also if you think you parents having money makes you not eligible for Hardcore please listen to Marginal Man, the singer's dad was a senator. Most of the OG DC scene came from a fair amount of money.

Yeah, but none of the original DC scene was complaining about how ****ed up they were. It was more commentary on the people around them, you got the self pity in the California scene because those mother fu[I]c[/I]kers were acutally poor, I mean if you read about how Black Flag lived it was only because Ginn's parents brought them food occasionally.
