Heh, Its fine by me.
There are only two drummers in my grade.

One of their names is Robby.

He's been playing for two or three years. The whole time while taking lessons.

He's the worst drummer I've ever heard in my life. He literally cannot keep a beat.

It's his fault I don't have a band, because the other drummer (although very good) is too high all the time to play.

That is all.

Understanding In a Crash 07-28-2005 09:39 PM
I have a myspace now so I can wank to some of the pictures of the hot girls at my school. It's a blank acount, though. No picture or words or anything.

I deleted my real one...because the place sucked.
Thats how I started out, and now I paint my nails :upset:

I started out with a real acount.

Then realized how so many people who were not good people.

So I deleted my acount, and made the blank one for wanking purposes.

Derek was such a good drummer.

Then he found pot. Now he hangs out with all the pot kids all the time, instead of me and my bassist.

Now I have no band.

I ****ing hate him :(

He never had a myspace.

Dude, your purpose in life is to dance.

Don't ever let anyone convince you other wise.

cobert 07-28-2005 09:44 PM
Exactly.

Plus, I check people at my school to see if anyone has good music tastes.

Only one and a half people so far.
Pretty much the other reason besides pics i have a myspace. Same number of people have good taste, too.

Also, theres really only one drummer in my school that would consider being in my band, and well, he is in my band. Everyone else basically just plays for school and doesnt have an actual set.
Someone needs to be entertaining though.
I hate it when people say that.

It's part of the reason that I got a new screen name and tried not to tell anyway.

People kept IMing me and saying "Entertain me."

WHO THE **** DO YOU THINK I AM!?

I don't live to amuse you, dip****. I'll entertain you if I want you arrogant bitch, when I'm good and ready.

/end rant

/Much love, Heather

my velcro-shoes 07-28-2005 09:46 PM

Robbyface, you called me hodder!

And why is it all the cool kids have bands? Gosh. I feel so lame. (Jon if you comment on that I will snap your neck.)

I would imagine. And (not to sound conceided) but I have a good scream. I'm an alright singer. I just need to build more confidence really.

singing is harder to do. I played with an acoustic band, and man that was the most terrified i have EVER been and i am usually really comfortable playing live

Its more comfortable screaming because you cant really go out of key and if you forget the words, most people wont understand you anyways.
Nothing, just got back from my grandma's. She kept feeding me and now I probably won't eat for another week I'm so full.
My friends mom always has tons of food at their house and everyone makes me eat. They seriously order 2 pizzas, hoagies, and breadsticks and kill it all at once.

It's the tabit thing I've gotten the most compliments for.

thisis sceneSUICIDE 07-28-2005 10:06 PM

I've never had too much of a problem singing in front of people...

The only time I've really been SUPER nervous was when our "a capella" trio won gold at an LTC convention. Meaning, we had to sing our 3 songs...In front of 6000 people.

I almost cried.

The only band I've found I could sing without sounding really off is Zebrahead.

My hopes of an acoustic band are slim.
