Blah. I hate homework.

:amaze:
who doesn't . . .

bottlerocket 11-04-2004 09:11 PM

 same for me, gaslight.

Thanks DFIA.

Yeah, I have none tonight because of the retreat today (I fell asleep so many times. Boring as hell. It was a religious retreat, and I'm more religious than most people, but this was just awful) and career day tomorrow (we follow around people of certain professions that our guidance councellors think we should check out. I got assigned a chemist/physicist who does work for the government and works for the CIA  I rule).

Thanks everyone who gave me some :thumb: I'm the official reputation point whore. When I have enough to get cool privilages, I'm going to rub it in all of your faces :) Haha, just messin. I was just wondering how many people actually would do it.

:amaze:

bottlerocket 11-04-2004 09:12 PM

That's scary. That's why hitch hiking is illegal (it's illegal to hitch hike and to pick up hitch hikers).

I give it about another two months before it's down...I hope it gets taken down ASAP. I hate it. I can be one of the most respected posters on the bass forums and I could have 0 RPs, but some jackass who contributes nothing and flames everything and everyone could have 5 stars.

EDIT: I'm not saying I am one of the most respected posters, I'm just saying hypothetically...

Yo.

Whats happenin?

Actually my old Catholic school shoved their religious ways in my face that I was turned off. Im not even Catholic anymore. I just believe in the virtues and lessons that every religion has.

depends on the length . . . my school, although it doesn't have a uniform, does have dress code, and the girl's skirts have to be withing four inches of the knee . . . dammit . . .

Well, thanks for the thought :thumb:

Hey, someone do my homework for me. Make a poem using 5 of the following words: countenance, albeit, milieu, disdain, stymied, magnanimous, anti-hero, villain, malevolent, lackadaisical, fallacy, revile, roister, morose, chronicles, exhortation, nomenclature, vernacular, loquacious, apostrophe (not the punctuation...).

Thanks.

bottlerocket 11-04-2004 09:16 PM

^ Yeah, I'm all for my Catholic religion and I believe strongly in it, but I can't stand the select few Catholics who shove it in other people's faces and force them to convert. I mean, I know it's my duty as a Catholic to spread my religion and preach Christ's Word, but I don't shove it on people. If someone says they don't believe in God, I try to put forth some reasons why they should and why they should be Catholic. If they don't buy it, I say "OK, I tried" and we keep being friends.

I don't know what half those words mean luke.

Foxfire 11-04-2004 09:16 PM

Regardless of whether or not you believe in Catholicism and other religions, the stories of Jesus and such in the Bible are extremely valid for teaching morals and the like.

Religion open-mindedness +1

Luke, I'll do it. How long does the poem have to be? Anything it needs to be about?

true, but relgion, in all it's goodness, can go wrong, with religous wars . . . i mean come on, how do you justify killing with god as a front  . . .

Dieforitall89 11-04-2004 09:21 PM

Foxfire 11-04-2004 09:21 PM

TherodoreFoxfire: Morosely, magnanimously, the anti-hero malevolently stymied the countenance, albeit the disdain of the anti-hero and villain, for the chronicles of exhortation and nomenclature, however vernacular and loquacious, revile in the fallacy of the roister, despite the obvious milieu and apostrophe
MonoBass82: holy ****
what type of poem?
It doesn't really even have to be a poem, just something that shows I know how to use the vocabulary words correctly in context. I jsut thoguht a poem would be the easiest for some of you, and I could get away with it b/c a poet's writing style can be very similar to another's.
