I downloaded Different World, and Brighter Than A Thousand Suns last night, great stuff.

Paschendale is one of the reasons Maiden are my favourite band

I love the french horn (im guessing on which horn it is =/) durring the part where bruce sings "the crimson cloak unveils again". It's just those little details that make that song wonderful.

I love the assorted instruments in both Paschendale and Dance of Death.

I just love the entire album Dance Of Death. It's definitely in my top three Maiden albums.

I think it's gonna be really hard for the new album to match up to DoD.

I love DoD, especially Bruce's voice on the actual song. My friend had the flag up on the roof of his car for a while... before it pretty much fell apart :lol:.

DoD is great but out of all the Maiden albums it's somewhere in the middle for me.

if anyone cares AMOLAD was reviewed in total guitar this month and got 9/10.

just got my tickets for the toronto show today, right next to the stage :D

Hmm...Iron Maiden are a band of many talents, to be sure, but people used to listening to Mozart and other classical composers may find all the music a bit brash and vulgar and people used to listening to opera would probably find Bruce's voice irritating......my point is, you don't have to be musically ignorant to dislike Maiden. It just means you know why you dislike them :-)

I've heard a very little bit of ..A Thousand Suns and all of TROBB (Multiple times) that's enough for me, I'd rather rip out my hair and go crazy waiting for this damn thing :p

I believe it's Sanctuary records. I ordered the deluxe edition of the album and a shirt for $22 with shipping. I would recommend it.

I don't think the album will arrive right away though :(.

It seems i'm the only one here who has ruined the album for themselves:p
and i must say AMOLAD truly does sound like an absolutely phenominal album from the samples:)

Err yeah, my bad. What I meant to say was; Is only Sanctuary Records giving away the shirts, or are music stores giving them away too?

I guess I'd have to call the store to find out for sure, but I was wondering if anyone here had pre-ordered it from a music store and knows whether they do or not.

I'm not going to listen to the samples. I can wait another few days to hear the songs in decent quality and in what will hopefull be their full awsome entirity.

I already pre-ordered it, but after August 29th I know it will be posted on soulseek and I'll probably get it then, and then marvel at my deluxe version when it comes with that sweet a*s shirt.

So I just caved in and listened to the samples, can't wait to hear the better quality version of them all, should kick immense a[size=2]ss[/size]. From those I liked The Pilgrim the most, although Lord of Light had some cool guitar work. only a few more days :D
